Once I was washed and wearing fresh clothes, I felt a little better and could walk around myself a little easier.
When I was back in the room, I noticed Jada now had Brooke in her arms and was intently studying her, just as she had Blaze.
“How are you feeling now, my love?” Cor asked me. He had Blaze in his arms.
“Feeling a bit better after a shower, are we ready to head back to the house?” I asked him.
“Yep, did you want me to get you a wheelchair?” he asked seriously. I snorted as I laughed.
“I think not, but if you can take both the pups, Jada can help keep me steady as we walk back.” He studied me for a minute but then agreed.
