COREY POV
I carefully detangled myself from my sleeping mate and headed back out to the kitchen where I had left Jada.
“What do you want to do until we need to cook dinner, Princess?” I asked her. She thought about it for a minute.
“Can we go for a run? JJ wants to get out.” She said after a while.
“Sounds great, you go ahead and shift but wait for me just in the trees. I’ll just leave mum a note in case she wakes up.” She nodded and took off outside. I was still not comfortable shifting together, it just felt wrong as she's a child.
I jotted a quick note for Ray and stuck it on the fridge. I shifted just outside the back door and headed off to find JJ.
