RAYLEE POV
I looked up at Cor as he chuckled at Louve. I could feel he had put a mental wall up. I didn't know if he had even realised he had done it, but I couldn’t feel anything from him.
I was sure if I activated my full powers, I could find out what was going on, but nothing was coming through the mate bond.
I’m not angry at him for what happened, but it was quite a shock to feel so much power coming from him, combined with the feelings that bombarded me through our connection.
It concerned me that JJ had to force Jada to shift in order to calm him down. I put my hand on his face to get his attention.
He looked down at me with a questioning and concerned look.
