2 - A Life Bought

HER POV

I opened my eyes to a bright white light and instantly closed them again before slowly opening my eyes and looking around. I was in an all white room with no windows a single bed with a cotton blanket and a metal chair with clothes folded on top. I climbed out of the bed and a door opened. 'Hello Miss, I am here to take you for some food and a bath then we will get started okay?' a small plump woman asked me she had a black dress on that went passed her knees and her grey hair was tied up into a small bun, she had a friendly smile and eyes and held her hand out to me. I looked at her hand and back to her face 'come on sweet I wont hurt you, lets get you settled' she said to me noticing my hesitation. I slowly reached out and took her hand and we started walking down a long hallway passed many many doors. 'My name is Mrs Garth and we will start in the kitchen with breakfast, then I will take you for your bath and get you dressed, them some people want to see you after that I will take you back to your room' she told me as we walked I gave her a slight nod as we walked into the kitchen.

There was plates full of food eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, toast, waffles and cereal too. Mrs Garth passed me a plate and started putting foods onto it before walking me over to a table where I started eating. She sat and watched me as I ate, I suspect taking in every detail of me, which makes me think ... what do I look like? As the thought crosses my mind I stop eating. 'What is the matter dear?' Mrs Garth asks me with concern all over her face. 'uh..um.. I dont. Wh..what do I look like?' I ask in a small voice. Mrs Garth's eyes go wide for a few seconds before going back to normal, she stands up and holds out her hand again, I take it and follow her back down the hallway to another room. When we walk in i'm suddently hit with warm moist air that smells heavenly, taking in a deep breath I automatically relax and feel calm. Taking in my surroundings I see another two people in the room stood next to the bath that is in the centre of the room. Mrs Garth introduces them and informs me they will be helping getting me get clean and prepared.

After climbing into the bath one of the girls, Veronica, comes over with a cloth and some soap and starts washing my body whilst the other girl, Stephanie, starts washing my hair, the massage on my scalp as she does so has me closing my eyes and relaxing further into the bath. 'Enjoy it miss' the girl washing my body says with a slight giggle, I gave her a shy smile before leaning back and enjoying the rest of my bath while the girls pamper me, my nails are attended to, my hair was washed and cut, my skin was cleansed, exfoliated, shaved and moisturised. By the time I got back to my room with Mrs Garth I was completely relaxed and calm. She walked over to the chair and picked up the clothes on it passing them too me. 'Get dressed Dear I will be back in 5 minutes to take you to those important people' she said with a smile before stepping out of the room and closing the door. I unwrapped the towel from around my body and stepped into the white cotton underwear followed by the white cotton dress that stopped mid thigh and looked more like a nightgown as I slipped the white flip-flops on the door opened and Stephanie appeared with Mrs Garth. 'Perfect Darling, lets get your hair sorted and you can go' she said with a smile. So I smiled back and sat on the chair as Stephanie took the towel from my hair and started brushing through. Five minutes later and I was walking out of the room with Mrs Garth down to the opposite end of the hallway, up some stairs and around a corner until we were infront of these large dark brown double doors.

As the door opened Mrs Garth walked me over to a group of girls who were all wearing similar dresses and stood me at the end of the line facing the crowd of men and women sat at tables laughing, drinking and watching. Mrs Garth stood off to the side and behind us, I looked over at her nervously and she just smiled at me, making me relax and smile back I turned to face the front and kept smiling. After an hour of just standing there Mrs Garth walked back over to me and took me out of the room with the other girls following behind. We walked back down the hallway and the girls each went through a different door, some with a man outside some had a woman stood outside, I saw the two girls who were in the bathroom with me stood opposite each other each outside a door just before mine. Mrs Garth walked me into my room and closed the door after I walked into the room and it hit me how exhausted I was.

I walked over to my bed and noticed there was a bag sat on top, I turned to Mrs Garth as she started answering my unspoken question. 'Dear the important people who you just saw they were looking to see who to take in' she stopped giving me a second to digest the information, I gave her a small nod to continue 'This man is going to take you in, you will call him Alpha, he has paid for your school and he will give you a room and a bed. In return you will cook for him and clean his home, you will do anything he asks of you and you will be okay. You will not speak about the things you hear or see whilst you live with him.' Mrs Garth continued with a stern tone making me feel quite nervous and scared of this man. Mrs Garth must have noticed my fear as she continued saying 'Honey, as long as you follow the Alphas orders and stay out of trouble, you are going to have a good life, school, your own room , clothes and a paycheck. Unfortunately, you have no family and no money. This way you can earn a pretty penny, get an education and a home.' I nodded at her explanation and smiled at her 'Okay but what is the bag for I don't have any belongings' I asked her. 'Ahh I got the girls to get you some clothes to take with you i am sure Alpha will have something for you when you arrive but there are a few bits in the bag for you.' I nodded at her explanation before asking my next question 'When do I leave?' Mrs Garth looked over at me and smiled. 'You will leave tomorrow. Alpha has already left and gone back to his home, you will have dinner and sleep here tonight and then I will have the girls travel with you they will stay with you for 3 days and then leave you to it' I gave her a small smile before she continued 'You know you arrived here and nobody knows you and I am guessing you don't know yourself either do you?' She questioned me I shook my head no and she continued 'okay well first things first a doctor has been and looked at you and from what she can determine you are around 16 years old. We also don't have a name for you so your going to have to pick your own name or I can give you a name?' I thought about what she said when I thought of something and told her she was ecstatic at the name I chose and left to complete my documents, while she was gone I decided to get changed into something more comfortable. iI picked up the grey leggings and black t-shirt on the bed and changed quickly.

After dinner and a deep sleep I woke the next morning being rushed, I ate my breakfast quickly changed into  the grey leggings throwing my pajama bottoms into my bag and put a thin black hoodie over my pajama top. I slipped on the black trainers I had been gifted and left the room. I said goodbye to Mrs Garth promising to take care of myself and climbed into the car with Stephanie and Veronica, as they chatted between themselves I looked out the car window watching the scenery on the way to the airport. Four hours later and we were back in the car again for the last 2 hours of our journey and I am terrified. Ever since we landed I have had this bad feeling in my stomach, I am hoping it's just nerves but something tells me this is the start of something bad and for some reason this feeling is familiar.

Zane POV

I woke up the next morning and headed down into the kitchen where I saw everyone getting their breakfast, I looked at the clock it was 8:45am so I wasn't late, I smiled as I went to get my breakfast and sat next to my father. By 9am everyone had finished eating and we were all sat chatting, it was interrupted by my dads voice 'Everyone!' the room went quiet and everyone faced my father, by everyone I mean the Beta and his family, my uncle and cousin and the omega head staff Sandy and Camille and me. The rest of the pack are welcome in the pack house but they tend to only come for lunch and dinner or for events, some of the kids will come to use the facilities in the pack house after school and on a a weekend too. 'Today we will have a new girl starting, she is human but she will be helping a lot in this pack, I want her trained to cook and clean, she will be living in the omega quarters and the staff who used to work nights can now return to their previous roles. Therefore there will be Sandy, Camille and the new girl working in the pack house. The new girl will be expected to be fully trained within 1 month. She should have already been informed of her job role so she is expected to behave professionally I want her broken in to pack life and she will obey everyone's orders and do them to perfection does everyone understand?' my father finished his orders with a hint of his alpha tone in his voice. 'YES ALPHA!' everyone said at the same time with a smile on their face, new blood was always fun in our pack. 'Good she will be here at 12pm, Sandy I want you to write a list of all the chores that is done in the pack house and bring that to me within an hour, also ensure the previous omegas working in the pack house all have job roles within the pack or businesses. Camille I want you to figure out meals when the girl gets here find out what she can cook and start training her from there you both will support her this week then supervise the next 3 weeks. Zane and Sam you will be with us this morning and then when she arrives. Mel (Sam's mother and Beta Female) you will take care of enrolling the girl in school, it's one of the stupid conditions of buying her I guess, she will arrive with her documents and you can take it from there' my father finished with a nod and stood up, taking that as our cue me, Sam, his father and my uncle all stood up and left for my fathers office to go over pack business.
