Chapter Seven

Am so hungry” she said to herself then she remembered the pizza package she had reserved for the evening with a chilled cup of juice she enjoyed it after the meal, maria had a warm rosy bath which left her with the rose fragrance.

She dried her hair and gave it a nice touch maria opened her wardrobe after a scan through the gown section she picked a pink shaped and sleeveless short gown which was given to her by a friend of hers on her last birthday, she haf never worn it before this is the right time for it to be worn.

Some minutes later their was a knock on the door

“come in”

Joe came in slowly and said “are u ready”

Sure”

She was so beautiful but joe had no right to appreciate her

steve was already waiting on the way looking as handsome and tempting as ever when joe got there he opened the door for her to drop, there were in the middle of nowhere she was sure steve had something in store for her at the sight of him as maria came out of the car steve was so speechless she was extremely beautiful the makeup and hairstyle gave the look just the perfect touch

“Evening gracious” he finally heard himself say as she came closer, when she was close enough he gave her a slight peg and turned backwards

“so which lane do u prefer” maria turned back too she didn’t notice it before the endless dark lanes both with different adventures and surprises but one is simple and the other after a little silence,

“You don’t wanna know”

Maria thought deep she would like to have all the fun with steve but he wanted to keep it simple and formal as she could but that might be impossible with steve

“I pick the right lane”

“Sure” was all he said, she watched his face so well at first it was a plan then later there it was again that tempting smile

“You can go from here Joe”

“Yes sir”

Joe left with the thought of what might happen between them he had never trusted Steve for once he wasn’t anything like j.j but well he wasn’t to be blamed Joe believed because of what happened between him and Sonia, what a life he thought Steve opened the door for her his eyes full of mischiefs she entered quickly he stretched his hand to give her a note she looked at him surprise but not withstanding she collected it, as he was about to drive she opened it to read

*expensive wine

*at a romantic waterfall

Then he drove off, maria smiled but she was bothered this was the first time she was going out alone with steve she hope on the way she won’t melt in his arms and lose this tricky game.

There it was, at the sight of the waterfall any girl would lose control of herself.

Steve lead her to the table set for two, he drew the seat backward for her to sit,

“Thank you” was all she said with a full smile from nowhere a slow key romantic song was played, from a distance light colorful fireworks was been displayed, Steve served the wine.

After a few discussion, Maria raised the glass to sip her wine through the transparent glass she could see the boldly word that was made by the workers

“Ready to go”

The response of her eyes lashes and the dazzling smiles was enough for him to understand that she meant yes, in no time they arrived there, Maria hasn’t seen it as beautiful as this before for a second Steve was behind her but before she could turn he had disappeared, what is he up to was the question she asked herself but whatever it was she was sure he was up to no good.

Suddenly the door to the castle opened with scary was from within, maria was so scared she turned back to the car but it has disappeared into thin air what’s going on she asked herself pack of bats came running with scary red faces , maria ran inside streaming with both hands above her head, steve came out it was no longer funny from above a bright light shone maria closed her eyes to the response of the light she could see a printed work on the wall

#two steps forward#

Maria took two steps forward on the last step it was on a button, a huge door opened and behold was a well decorated table with candles light roses everywhere then she sighted steve in a chief attire he turn towards her,

“I thought you will be hungry”

Sure she was damn hungry she sat on the seat he had offered her she opened the dish carefully, instead she found a little box reddish in color at first he thought she would open it and find a ring it will be perfect when steve will ask her to marry him.

With a quick gaze at him she carried the box she opened it in it revealed a watch made of pure diamond the sight of the jewel took marias breath away it must have cost a mighty fortune though she had never seen something of such nature before

“I knew you’ll like it”

“sure I do

“it just a little gift to appreciate you for honoring my invitation”

“Just that”

“Yeah and more”

Maria was lost in imagination as she watched steve rang the bell different set of servants came running dishing the table with all assorted food, she wondered how he had done it she thought there were both alone at first and again T-tower was an expensive place to explore, how did he have it all to himself

“lets eat” was all he said he noticed the way she gazed at him but said nothing to her the place wasn’t totally the kind of place he like to stay, tony had earlier persuaded him to spend a minute in T-tower tony the owner of the tower knew who he was, he had already had everything planned just to steve taste leaned forward to maria to maria

“having fun yet let’s get outta here”

Maria smiled and they both stood up “excuse me” said steve and left.

In few minutes time he came back, but now wearing a designers wear looking so dazing she felt like holding him and giving him the kiss she had been saving for him.
