My toes were on fire but this was the only shoe that complimented my dress. “Hey best girl,let’s hurry along. I don't want to miss the fun and all.” That was Emily,the ever pretty one. She is always ready to party and mingle. Finally Racheal walked into the sitting room and I gave a sigh of relief. “Come on, let's get out of here.” ××××× The loud music bubbled in the building as we walked in, this was my second time coming into a club. The first time waa disastrous. “Hey Danielle, do you remember the first time we came here?” Racheal asked, moving her body to the beat of the music as I shook my head. “Yeah it wasn't a pleasant one.” I replied,my voice an octave higher so she could hear what I was saying. “I'm gonna go rock some dicky,probably rife one,you should get a man too.” Racheal said and immediately she disappeared into the crowd. “Are you just gonna sit here? Brian just texted me,he's at the vip lounge,I have to go.” Emily said as I froze. “I thought we came here to party,what's going on?” “I'm really sorry darling but i have to go right now but i'll be back before you know it,trust me.” She said and left me standing all by myself. This is supposed to be the night I celebrate being promoted but no, here I am,standing all alone. I made my way to the bar and satcon a tall stool. “Hi, martini please.” I said, pulling my phone from my bag as I checked my mail. I smiled as my eyes connected with the mail that was sent to me concerning my promotion. “Here you go, miss.” The bartender said,passing the drink to me as he bobbed his head to the music. “Hello pretty,care for a dance?” A nice looking gent asked,his eyes dazzled and I felt drawn to him. I found myself bobbing my head in agreement as I carried myself and my drink to the dance floor. Several bodies lined the dance floor,as we squeezed our way in and found a spot. Our bodies moved in melody to the beat of the music as something touched my boobs. I froze and looked down to find the hands of this stranger trying to move into my dress. What do you think you are doing?” I asked but of course the music was too loud and he didn't hear me. I tried pushing his hands away from my body but it was proving to be difficult and his hands delved deeper into my dress. Just then, I felt something or should I say someone pulling him roughly away from me and throwing him into the crowd. “Are you okay?” The stranger asked and I nodded. So much for wanting a celebration. I thought inwardly as I made my way out of the dance floor. “Can you please come with me? Someone would like to see you,he is a VIP and would like to have a conversation with you.” he said and I scoffed. “Whoever he is, tell him I'm not interested in talking to him. I need to go home right now.” He continued to follow me,not relenting in his movement till I stopped and turned to face him. “Fine,take me to see this important VIP and he better be worth it.” I said and followed him. We walked through an inner passage before I saw an elevator. “I am Cole by the way,you are?” He asked. I rolled my eyes and groaned out loudly. Im very sure he heard it becsyse he didnt bother asking any more question. Finslly we got to a door tagged VIP DO NOT DISTURB. “Go in.” i turned to look at him. Like is he kidding me or what? He doesn't expect me to walk in there,does he? “You're coming in with me,do you understand?” i asked and he smiled a little. “How am i sure I'm not walking into a death trap?” “You have to trust me, okay?” He said as he pushed tje door open fir me to walk in. The chill air hit me immediately as I walked in. “She’s here.” i heard cole say and immediately,an inner door was opened as the most handsome,tall and muscular man ive ever seen walked out. Our eyes scanned each other for a while before I raised my brows. “So you sent for me, why?” I asked but onky a sweet smile cobered his face as I wondered what I did to amuse him. “You are truly beautiful,You were sitting alone and the next minute,you were dancing in thd criwd witg that dimwit,so i sent fir you.” “I still don't understand you,why–” “I really like you and I want us to spend some time togethet.” he said,his throat working witg every word he spoke. His blue eyes called to me and of course his muscles. I found myself glued to his body, my eyes refusing to let go of the sight before me. “Cole get us two glasses,i'm sure sged love to have a drink. I felt my walls breaking off as he sat down. “Make yourself comfortable. If I may ask,what is a beautiful lady like you doing alone, in the crowd?” “I came with my friends but I guess they all have something better to do so….” I trailed off. Cole walked back into the louge with a bottle of wine and two glasses. I looked around and noticed we were at the top floor and I could see the entire club. “You love the view,don't you?” He asked,and as I turned around,I found him standing really close to me. “I should kiss you.” he whispered and immediately my insides melted.
