Defeated and forced, Princess Louisiana has to act accordingly with how the King wants her to be, to match his status, needs, and to satisfy his subjects' standards. The King forced marriage between them to get his power fed, and to prove his ex lover that he has also found the love of his life. Princess Louisiana was made to be his wife, and she has to do well to get her compensation; for her weak father to live another chance for a good life, and in hopes of letting her people out of the harsh treatment.
