“It is strange you should have such a knowledge of horses, Lady Hartington,” he had said. “Most people ride them in Rotten Row because it is the fashionable thing to do, but they don’t know a thing about their training or how important it is. But you seem to know as much about it as I do.”
“I would not say that,” Calina had replied. “But it has always interested me and I have had a great deal to do with horses.”
