Chapter 15-2

760 Words

Saturday morning they overslept. They had to get back to campus. Bill had to go back to his apartment and pack before meeting with the team to board the bus for the airport. There was no time for anything except quick showers and a momentary hug at the door before they left. When they arrived in town, Bill let Frank out of the car with a quick kiss several blocks from Bill’s building. It was freezing. The temperature was in the single digits and the wind was strong. The wind chill must have been sub-zero. As Frank watched Bill drive off, he thought of the long walk that lay ahead of him to get back to his dorm, and called for an Uber. As he waited for his ride, he briefly wondered if the charge for an Uber on his credit card bill would be another red flag to his already suspicious father.
