Chapter 15
Much to Frank’s delight, Bill spent that night with Frank in the freshman’s dorm room. Before they slept, they made plans for the rest of the week. Both of them had practices during the day as classes didn’t begin until the following week. Frank had evenings free. Bill’s evenings were spent in film study to ready himself for what he’d face from the Alabama defense. After that was finished, he and Frank could be together.
As the week went on, more and more students would be returning to the campus. Bill felt he shouldn’t be seen hanging around the freshman dormitory.
Similarly, Frank shouldn’t be seen coming and going from Bill’s apartment, as several of the football players lived in the building. They decided to take a motel room away from the U in one of the Detroit suburbs.
