“Okay you guys, listen up,” one of the assistant gymnastics coaches called over the noisy team gathered in the lobby of a Marriott in Iowa City. “I’m gonna read off the room assignments. It’s gonna be a bit cramped cuz the hotel overbooked.” There was some general grumbling from the team.
