Loretta's POV
“Calm down, it's me.” Thanks to Alpha Lorenzo's voice, I was already at the verge of passing out.
Staring at my arm which he grasped tightly, he quickly pulled away and then started to dart his eyes around like a child caught in an unholy act.
“What are you doing here?” I asked, crossing my hands on my chest.
“I'm the one who's supposed to be asking that.” He huffed only to start walking off the next second.
Just when he was about to disappear from the hallway, with a loud voice, I yelled, “Are you leaving just like that?”
“What about the questions you want to ask? I bet you're no longer curious like I thought.” I shrugged as a knowing smile spread across my lips.
