Lorenzo's POV After Loretta took her leave, I wanted to run after her to stop her but my pride wouldn't let me move my feet. She had struck a chord in me, this she was fully aware of. Not going to lie, I was mesmerized by her boldness. “She clearly stated that she wouldn't be a coward forever.” I muttered, sending my teeth into my lips. “Let's see if that will happen.” I huffed, rolling my eyes to the back of my head as I grasped the document I was holding even more tightly.
