Next Day, and the Day After That...

Time with our families was amazing! Nothing beats the homey feel, memories and quality company. The girls and I decided to meet up at Dels (a place where you can get frozen lemonade which is a RI classic).

We had all ordered our drinks and had decided to go to Rocky Point for a day of relaxation near the water. 

Es says, "It sure is a nice day today! I have missed home!"

Cam shakes her head in the affirmative gesture and replies, " Sure is, but what do we talk about?"

I have to get this off of my chest. It's now or never, " I have been meaning to tell y'all this, but have been avoiding it... I am staying in New England... permanently"

Both looked at me in complete and utter shock! Cam even dropped her Dels.

Es is the first to speak in an eerily calm manner, " Well I guess if that is what you want the fine. You should have told us earlier tho, it is not like that we haven't been practically supporting you! I mean especially when you crave something, have a bad day, forget something etc.! So if that's the way you feel then jus fine."

Cam gives me a hurt look and they both walk away. Throughout all of the years, we have many arguments, but this time... I am just done. After all we have been through and all we have experienced I am sick and tired of this, I am just done!

In an angry haste I rush to my car and drive back to where I am staying. Quickly I phone one of my other friends, Dandelionne (Dani for short) and tell her what has happened. She lives in Boston as a cop. We have been close since high school, but go way back before then. She has always been there for me and I miss hanging out with her. She calms me down and invites me to her place to stay. I accept, I can't inconvenience my family, and I will find a job soon! Until then, I know Dani will not rub her help in my face! I guess I am accepting Harvard's offer then!

I am back New England, the West Coast was never for me!
