Kai's POV:
Demon just confused the hell out of me, but I will deal with that later. I take a quick shower and head out to the kitchen. Amber is still cooking breakfast; apparently, everyone wants her to cook for them because there are enough fried eggs and pancakes to feed a small army.
I walk up behind her and gently wrap my arms around her waist, "Did everyone want breakfast?" I ask as I kiss the back of her neck.
"They did," she laughs.
I shake my head and shoot Jeon, Jackson, Ryker, and Ty, a f**k you look. Jackson flips me off, and Jeon laughs. Jackasses. She's pregnant and not their girlfriend. I am feeling extremely possessive and territorial today. As an Alpha, and because she's my mate and pregnant with our daughter, I don't pay much thought to how possessive I am feeling.
