Amber’s POV:
I take a second to collect myself and once I finally focus, I see a bunch of people standing around. A taller woman with long dark brown hair comes rushing over and cups my face.
“Oh, Amber, you're even more beautiful than before,” she hums.
“Hi.”
“Sorry, I am Lily, Kai and Ryker’s mom.”
Wow…she is stunning. Tall, slim, with long hair, and beautifully defined features.
“Hi,” I say again with a soft smile.
Kai walks over, and a warm expression laces his face, “Did we surprise you?”
I laugh, “I almost peed.”
He laughs slightly as he leans down and pecks my cheek. I am sure the confusion running through my mind is visible on my face. Did he just kiss me in front of everyone? What the…
“Sorry, was that not okay?” he whispers.
I gently touch his arm, “No, it’s fine.”
