Amber’s POV:
I am too stunned to reply, but before I even have a chance, Ryker calls over for Kai and he steps away. I feel like being alone right now, so I can process everything that’s happened today. I tend to internalize everything and the best way for me to work through it is alone. I grab my laptop from my dresser and resume writing the chapter I was working on. I must be channeling some of today’s events because the chapter ends up a little more spicy than I meant for it to be.
Around eleven, I decide to head to bed since Sia and I are getting up a little earlier than normal to hang out with Sarah and Josie.
