Alex

By the time the evening role around the place is packed, with most of the guests have arrived, strangely though the host has not, not that i want to see him but i can’t help but wonder that if you have such an grand event at least you should be there to welcome them, any way it is the perfect time for me to put my plane in motion if Jade is not there, I’ll have to abort mission until we gain more information.

i snuck into one of the bathrooms and changed back into my black jeans and jacket i needed to be comfortable to be able to move as fast as possible, i am fast and strong in my human form, i have never shifted or ever contacted my wolf nor has she tied to contact me, i know strange for a werewolf to never shift right, the academy even got me to see doctors but they could never understand why, some of them felt that maybe because i was never part of a pack but i never cared i can handle myself pretty well in my human form and my sense are still enhanced.

i made my way to the back of the building there where others walking around so i kept my head low and moved quickly to the side of the building, i checked around making sure that the cost was clear, i slipped my gloves on and tested them out, you see these were specially made they could stick to anything and lucky for me i brought them, i slowly began to climb, as i about to reach the third floor i hear a Nosie, looking down i notice a guard approaching if i stay in this position i will get caught, the only thing i could do was jump into the tree that as nearby, catching on to the branch i try to balance myself, but the guard notices the movement and looks up i quickly duck, the night and my dark cloths providing with the perfect cover, he sniffs the air but my scent is still covered up it won’t last long with all this climbing, slowly the guard move along satisfied with his inspection. I make my way to the end of the branch and lunch myself off it, i spread out my fingers so that the gloves can get a grip but as i land i start sliding, finally the gloves activate again and i climbing.

i make to the eight floor and slowly slid the window open there is no sound coming from this room so the coast is clear, i sniff the air, it has one of the best smells ever i cannot place what it is but i can also detect Jades scent, which means i was right, i make my way to the door and slowly open it the place is dark and quite except for the clicking Nosie it sounds like someone is typing, i follow the sound, to a room at the desk i find Jade typing.

i am slightly confused by the situation in front of me, Jade looks fine, making my way further into the room, i call out to Jade, she snaps her head around to look at me, she looks shocked, what are doing here, who sent you, how did you know i was here, she screamed

it was my turn to be shocked by her outburst, Jade the Academy sent me to rescue you, i am here to take you back home, she starts to laugh, home the Academy did not send me here, i do not need recusing so let’s not play dumb they sent you to kill me didn’t they, couldn’t have one of their agents go rough, she exclaims, now i am utterly confused kill you, gone rough what are you talking about.

She shakes her head and then moves her hand fling me across the room, she chokes me against the wall, look Alex, you where my friend therefore i mea this in the nicest way possible, you are too trusting and blind to what is in front of you, all you do is follow the academy’s orders like a little puppet that’s why it is best that i put out of your misery now.

her hold gets tighter, i grab her hands trying to puts her off, but i am battling to breath and i am losing my energy, and then the door goes flying bricking into pieces and then a man enters and there’s that smell again, like the ocean and forest, yes that is it, the best thing ever and those eyes like the sky and they are staring at me like he can see my soul and heart and then he gets angry and comes towards Jade lets me go and runs but as i hit the floor everything goes black.

Daniels POV

After the meeting, Ryan and i decide to stay at the cabin to sort out some paper work, we were running a little late so we had our suits delivered to us, we made our way towards the mansion, most of the guests have area arrived, Jason informed that we were only awaiting for two more of the Alphas, as i entered my wolf started going crazy, i tried calming him down, all he said was that we needed to go to my room immediately, i excused myself and made my way to the elevator

once inside, i asked him what was wrong and tried to explain to him that we needed an alliance with the other packs even if he didn’t like it, he snapped at me it not about your idiotic plans Dani we just need to get to her, her who i asked just then the doors opened, when i stepped in the smell hit me like roses and rain and then i heard the noises in my office i ran towards and slapped the door open bricking it, that’s when i saw her, eyes that seemed more blue than the ocean and hair so red, Mate! my wolf said but someone was hurting her, i ran towards them, but the women dropped my mate and took off, i mind linked Ryan i asked him to go after the women and also get the doctor, i knelt down next to my mate, she passed out and bruises where beginning to form around her neck, i picked her up and took her to my room just as the doctor Lizzy came in with Ryan, both looking at me question, but i did not have time for it , Liz help her, she was been chocked.

Liz quickly got to work, checking her vitals and examining her bruises, i looked at Ryan and stated explaining what happened, he said that Jason when with some Guards, trackers and warriors to find the women, the cameras caught her leaving so they have her description because i cannot give them one considering i never really even looked at her, Ryan then asks me how did they even get here and who is she, he points to the bed, i shake my head i don’t know the answer to any of those question except that she is my mate.
