She ran out immediately without taken much cognize of the man, taking the key card Hink gave her.
She looked at the room number and realized she had indeed gone into the wrong room but Hink gave her the key card. She immediately confronts him but he quickly apologized.
“I took the wrong card key from the bar. It was mistakenly swapped because I got drunk” he said, his voice had been soft.
“But I end up in another man’s room because of that!” Mira felt really angry.
Hink softly held her hand gently and look into her eyes deeply.
“What happened doesn’t matter. It was a mistake and it’s all in the past”
She looks into his eyes and he look really sincere.
“I love you and that is what matters” he squeezed her palm gently and kissed her on the forehead.
And she believed him because she thought he really love her but it was all lies.
Now she knew Hink must have set it all up with Anna and her uncle since he has the recording of what happened that night. She realized she was not just drunk but also drugged.
Everything has been taken away from her by her uncle; Anna had taken her position has the heiress of Graymont empire and not only that, Anna will be the one to controlling the Hilltop pack now in her place.
Mira wonders when Hink and Anna start to conspire against her. Was it from the very start or after she got married to Hink?
She could not believe Hink will betray her like that because he has always showed her love and care but now it seems she was deceived.
Sitting on the cold ground outside the Diamond pack mansion where she was thrown out by Hink, she knew she needed answers.
Why will her uncle who she not only trusts but her father trusted him betray her that cruelly and even made her a madwoman to the world.
Now she has nowhere to go.
In her devasting state, with heavy tears on her face, she drags her body up and went to the Gray’s mansion that night. She believes she needed answers from her uncle and Anna.
Mira stood outside the towering black gates of the Gray’s mansion, her body trembling under the heavy thundering rain.
To worse her situation, the rain chooses that night to pour, she trembles under the rain but wouldn’t give up. The guard had locked the gate on her face after realizing she was the one at the gate.
The Gray’s mansion was her home and inheritance, but now she was locked out looking like dirt while she bangs the gate but no one answer her. She tried calling her uncle’s phone, Anna and her aunt but none of them picked, it was obvious they were ignoring her calls.
“Open this gate before I pull it down!” she yells angrily, banging the gate with all her power while crying with pain in her heart.
She is so exhausted, tired and drained but since she has nowhere to go, she kept banging the gate.
“Miss Mira, please leave” the guard said coldly.
“We have strict orders not to allow you in.”
Mira’s fingers tighten into a fist.
Strict orders from the person who stole her mansion and made it his own.
It sounds like a joke.
“I want to see my uncle” she said clenching her teeth.
The guards remained unmoved.
“Mr. Raymond does not wish to see you.”
The rain had drenched her completely, but she refuses to leave.
“This mansion belongs to me. My father owns it” she rise her voice shakily.
“Miss Mira, don’t make trouble…”
“Call him! Call Raymond Gray out here to tell me to my face that this mansion does not belongs to me!” she screams, her voice echoed violently through the gate.
The guards froze slightly hearing Mira call her uncle by name.
Mira inhale and exhale angrily, as if she was about to explode.
“He stole my inheritance, he framed me. He destroyed my life!” her eyes full of rage.
“If he refuses to see me, I’ll expose everything he has done to the world!” heavy thunder roared across the sky as if attesting to what Mira just said.
In the mansion, Raymond sat calmly in the study which was formerly, Mira’s father’s study. He watches Mira from the gate on the security footage.
A glass of wine rest lazily in his hand.
Anna smirked beside him while they both watch Mira scream helplessly through the monitor.
“Oh! Our ex-heiress looks really pathetic” Anna shakes her head in pity.
Raymond chuckles softly.
“She is just desperate.” She sneered.
“Let her in.”
Raymond’s voice sound through the intercom at the guard post at the gate.
“Yes, Mr. Raymond”
Mira is surprise that the iron gate finally opens, she immediately rushed in without hesitation.
The moment she stepped into the mansion, painful memories filled her mind, how she used to be happy living with her parents in the same mansion.
Now she regrets everything, trusting Hink, falling for him and leaving everything for his uncle to handle for her.
She slowly looked at the place with much grief, everything was still the same, just that the people there had changed.
Her eyes soon fell on her uncle sitting comfortably in the seat her father only used as the Alpha of the pack.
She immediately explodes into rage.
“How dare you sit on dad’s seat? You traitor!” she breath angrily.
Raymond looks up lazily at her as if he was looking at some problem child.
“You betrayed dad! You stole everything from me and made the world believe I’m mentally insane!”
Her breathing becomes heavier with every word.
“This mansion belongs to me! The Hilltop pack and everything you think you have. They are mine!”
Raymond suddenly laughed, a deep mockery laughter.
Mira froze slightly; she thought he will deny it but he…
“Foolish girl,” Raymond shakes his head.
“Your father trusted me to manage things for two years” he eyes instantly darkens.
“And for what? To remain your servant? After I was a servant to your father?”
His voice turns sharp.
Mira looks shocked, she could not believe her uncle has been thinking that way of her father.
“How long have I watched your father sit in power, while I obeyed him like a loyal dog?” he smirked angrily.
“And then, he expects me to hand over everything we have worked to a little girl who threw everything away for a man?”
Mira’s eyes trembles violently.
“You have no right to…!”
“I have every right to take all we have worked for!” he breath angrily.
“The pack, the business and everything!”
“You abandoned everything because you are so weak. You only cared about yourself and getting married to Hink.”
His lips curled up mockingly.
“A marriage no one knew existed.”
Mira’s chest tightened painfully.
“You manipulated me. You and your shameless daughter” she mutters shakily.
“You allowed it”
He smiles cruelly.
Mira instantly snapped.
“You thief!”
She lunged forward furiously, but before she could reach him a dirty slap landed on her face from behind.
“SMACK!”
