A Dream

Decision

Sky and I got home at 4:30 in the afternoon after we take a walk outside, and I have to admit that I've missed being outside! It's been a while since I take sky for a walk, so we spend my free time taking a walk outside.

As we got home, I unleashed sky first and I take off my shoes. I gave sky a snack and I still have time to do my activities that my prof assigned for today.

As the time goes by, I heard a knock on my door.

"Eliza, come here dad and I got something for you!" Oh, they bought me a present??? I don't think it's my birthday today so, why? hmm

"Uh, yes mom, I'll be there in a minute after I finish my activity" I said

"Okay sweet, take your time in there"

After I finished my activity, I got out of my room, sky is sleeping in my room so she's not coming with me outside.

Mom and Dad is in the living room. I smiled at them and sat beside Mom,

"You bought me something, Mom?" I asked looking so excited

"Of course! And it's your favorite! Dad and I saw a shop when we're heading back home. We stopped over and buy something for you! Open it" as she said, I immediately open the cute little pastel blue box, and my eyes twinkled when I saw what's in it. It's macaron! I've been longing for this!

"Thank you, Mom! I miss this!" I said as I take a bite on the macaron, it's super delicious~

"We know that is your favorite, that's why we stopped over to the shop and get you a box of it" dad said as he stare at me, smiling

And the idea of leaving them hits me, how can I leave this precious persons in front of me.

"Mom, dad do you already know about the offer of my boss?" I asked

Mom looked at me and smiled,

"Yes, your boss talked to us yesterday." I pouted at her and says

"Why did you not tell me then? And you agree about that, I don't want to leave"

The smile of my mom fades as she hold my hands, she looked at me in the eyes and says,

"We don't even want you to leave too, but you need to grow sweetie. It's a experience for you and for us. You will be there without our help and it will help you to stand on your own feet without me and your dad. And we can wait for you in here, we will wait for our princess." As soon as she says that, I felt a tear drops on my cheeks.

Why do I have to do this?

Dad sat beside me and hugged me,

"Shh don't cry sweetie, dad and mom are proud of you, look at you! you're going to be a partial owner of a country abroad even though you're still a student. You don't need to worry about us, we can take care of ourselves in here. And dad will take care of sky, because dad knows that his baby girl really love her baby." as dad said while patting my hair.

"And we promised you that we will visit you in there!" I suddenly laughed at dad as he said that,

"You will follow me in there?" I said as I look to them

My mom smiled to assure me,

"Of course we will, we need to check if our daughter is doing a great job in there"

I hugged them tight, I know that I can do it because my parents believed in me.

After we had our dinner, we go back to our rooms to rest.

I still have an hour and half to space out before my work for tonight. I still can't believe that I'm going abroad. I know that they're not going to send me immediately in there because I need to learn first the culture and the language of that country. I need to familiarize myself in their culture so that i'm not clueless when I'm in there and to avoid misunderstandings with people.

I was completely zoning out while looking at the ceiling of my room, my phone started to ring. Someone's calling.

Oh it's my boss?? but, it's not yet 8:00pm?

"Good evening, Sir?" I said as I picked up the call

"Good evening, Shaira. How are you? Do you have a decision regarding on my offer to you?" oh right haha I haven't tell him my decision yet.

"Uhm sir, when will I go in there? because I need some time to learn the language and the culture of that country so that I can easily communicate with people in there" I asked

"Oh yes, you have a one month before we send you in there. We will give you some time to learn and practice their language. And don't worry about expenses in there, we got you. Plus, we already got a studio apartment that you are going to stay in."

Wow, I already have a place in there

"Thank you, Sir. I promise you that I will do my best while I was in there"

"Thank you as well, Shaira. You are the only hope that I can see on solving the crisis of our company in there. I'm sending you the details about our company in there as I finished our call" My boss said as he end our call.

As soon as the call finished, I already received a email from my boss regarding on the details of our company in south korea. And they're not even lying about "crisis" that the company is facing right now because it is completely at it's lowest.

I'm already done reading about our company that I will manage, I received another email to my boss wherein the email contains a tutorials and literatures about korea and he suggested me to get a tutor to teach me korean language. But I prefer to self-study than getting myself a tutor because, I find myself difficult to teach.

I have a one month to prepare myself before my take off. I will spend my remaining one month with my family and to study as well.
