A Dream

I couldn't sleep, many questions are popping to my mind regarding on the offer of my boss, I haven't said my decision yet. I don't want to leave my family alone in here. You know, I might get homesick when I'm away from them. Plus, I'm still a student, how about my studies when I go in there? And I don't even know how to speak in korean! My head are starting to ache. I was zoning out in the ceiling when I felt something moved in my bed. It was sky. She jumped unto my bed. She lay down beside me.

I patted her, I don't wanna leave my baby too.

"Sky, mommy are lost in thoughts right now, what should I do?" as I said while petting her.

I don't know what to do, it's 3am in the morning and I don't have enough sleep for my class.

Beatrice suddenly came into my mind, should I call her?

I get my phone in my study table beside my bed to give a call to beatrice, I dialed her number and it's ringing. Is she awake right now? I'm about to hung it up because I thought she was asleep then suddenly she picks it up,

"Hey, what's the matter?" Beatrice said with her sleepy voice.

"I thought you're asleep haha, why are you still awake at this hour?" I answered as I doubting myself if I should tell her what's going on.

"I just woke up at 2:00am to finish my activities and review for my midterm tomorrow, you don't usually call me at this late hour, why so sudden?" she knows me so well. I don't usually call her at this hour.

"I just want someone to talk to, my boss wants me to manage our company abroad, I don't know what to do" I sighed.

"How about your studies when you go in there?" She asked.

"I don't know either, I felt so pressured right now. I don't want to leave but I can't refuse my boss, you know that."

"It's up to you girl, as long as they take care of you and everything, you're settled. I know auntie and uncle wanted the best for you, plus that is a experience tho!" She said.

She's right, that is also a experience for me.

"But, I'm not used to be far away from mom and dad" I said

"I know, but you need to get used to it because we all know that not all the time are always beside us. Besides, it's not like you're not coming back! We will wait for you!" She said as she encourage me.

"Thank you for listening to me, you never failed to comfort me" hay, to have a friend like her is a blessing.

"No problem! You know that I always got your back! Goodbye for now, Sis. I will take a nap before my class this morning. Message me regarding on you problem, I'm rooting for you!" She said as she hang up our call.

hay, maybe I should sleep too, I still have a class at 11:00am in the morning.

I woke up to the knock on my door, oh what time is it? I'm still sleepy.

"Eliza, wake up in there! It's already 11:30am, you haven't eat breakfast, you need to eat lunch" oh it's 11:30? 11:30?!

I immediately goes up and went straight to my study table, oh shoot! I have a class at 11:00am sharp! That what you get Shaira for staying up late!

"Hey Eliza, are you awake?" My mom said

"Yes, Mom I would go in there as I finish my class" I said while opening my laptop.

"Okay sweetie, you better eat after that" My mom said as she leave their room towards the kitchen.

I felt a relief when I checked our group chat in my class for today, our prof has a meeting at his time so she just gave us a activities for today. Thank God! I almost threw myself up in the table earlier because I thought I was absent for today's discussion. I was closing my laptop when I felt sky on my feet. Oh my baby!

I sat down to the floor to pat her,

"Im sorry baby, mommy doesn't wake up early to feed you" she looked at me with her pleasing eyes. Aw poor thing, I got up and put a food on her bowl. After I give food for sky, I entered my comfort room to shower.

As I finish washing myself up, I wore a comfy oversized t-shirt and shorts. I'm taking sky with me outside because she would be throwing some attitudes towards me if won't take her.

As I opened the front door of my parents room, sky and I split up, she goes to the living room while Im taking my step towards the kitchen. Mom and Dad are already done having their lunch and goes back to work already, so it's me and sky are alone in our house. Our dish for today's lunch is fried chicken and bacon, and mom made my favorite sauce! , I eat very well today because I didn't eat my breakfast earlier that's why I'm filling myself up.

After I finished my food, I wash the dishes and go to the living room to play with sky. I don't have any class for today, so maybe I can walk sky outside and after we finished taking a walk outside I would do the activities that my prof assigned to us this day. I have to unwind myself today to lessen the pressure on me, before I faced my boss later in the evening. I have not made my decision yet, I should ask Mom and Dad later when they got home after their work.

"Sky! Let's take a walk outside what do you think?" Sky immediately bark at me as a response, hay this baby probably miss taking a walk outside.
