It's already 7:00 in the evening, My mom and dad came home at 6:30pm, that's why mom is the one who's cooking our dinner for tonight. I'm still in my room, clearing up my table, I have my work at 8:00pm but my boss said that we would only have a meeting for today, until 10:30pm. Honestly, 8:00pm-2:00am is the timeframe of my work, and I got used to it. That's why I felt awkward with timeframe of my work for today. I was dozing off in front of my study table when I heard a knock on my door,

"Let's have a dinner sweetie, your mom is already done" it's dad

"Yes dad! Im going out in a minute!" As I said while clearing my study table to leave it neat.

"Okay, We'll wait for you in the kitchen" and I heard the foot steps of my dad fades away as he leaves the room.

Before I go out, I gave sky her food, I would not bring her with me because it's already evening, she might over hyped herself while playing in the living room.

As I walked towards the kitchen, I already smell our dish for tonight! It's my favorite! Chicken Curry!

I entered our kitchen with a big smile on my face, mom cooked my favorite dish for tonight! I immediately hug and kiss her cheeks

"Thank you, Mom!! You cooked my favorite dish without me asking you!" I said as I hug her.

My mom suddenly laugh and said,

"I cooked it because I never heard you asking for it this days, that's why" aww, my mother is cheesy na din as my father. She probably got that to my father. Kidding! Haha

"tsk, when it comes to me you never cooked my favorite dish even I asked for it or not, the favoritism is currently showing up here" as dad said whining to mom.

"Don't worry dad, when I have nothing to do I would cook all of your favorite food!" I said while laughing at her

My dad automatically smile and said,

"Yey! That's why I love my daughter so much, because her mom doesn't love me anymore" Dad said pouting while looking at my mom

My mom immediately laugh at him and says,

"Enough with the dramas, let's eat before the food gets cold"

With that, we have our dinner together and as a daughter, I volunteered to wash the dishes because they are the one who prepared for the dinner so it's my turn to wash. They all agreed and go to their rooms to wash and relax themselves.

As I finished washing the dishes, I dry my hand and goes back to my room, When I entered my parents room, dad is already sleeping while mom is about to lay down, I approach her and says,

"Goodnight Mom! Sweetdreams!"

She smiled at me and says

"Goodnight sweet, goodluck to your work, don't forget to rest after" I smiled to her as I enter my room.

It's already 8:02 in the evening, I opened a laptop and my boss send me an email reminding me regarding to the meeting. I immediately replied to it. As soon as I send a reply, my boss called me.

"Good Evening, Sir!" I greeted as I answer the call.

"Good Evening, Shaira, may I request you to open your cam for me to see what you are doing?" my boss said

"Oh yes of course" I said as I opened the cam for our call.

He smiled at me as he opened his cam and says,

"Much better, so I called you today to have a important discussion with you, you know that our company is nationwide right?" he said as he look at me

"Yes, Sir" I answered.

"Well, as we have our company nationwide, one of our company abroad are facing a crisis right now, our company in that nation are now at it's lowest point."

"What about the staff there, Sir? Are they trying to make it work and go back to it's position?" I asked

"Yes, but they couldn't fixed it, as I monitor your performance in our company, you are the only one who came into my mind when I heard that news from the staff in there. I would like to send you in there because you are the most qualified person I know to handle that situation, you will be handling our company in there and consider yourself as a partial owner of it. What do you think about my offer, shaira?

What?! They want to send me in there? abroad? The confusion are showing into my face

"Hey, Shaira don't worry we would take care all of your expenses going in there and I promise you that we will take care of your family in here as well, all we need to have is your permission" he said

"S-sir, how about my parents? I'm their only child, I couldn't leave them for so long" I answered as many questions builds up in my mind

My boss smiled at me "I already talked to them about this matter, they said that it's up to you right now if you will take it or not"

My parents knows it?? Why they haven't talked about it earlier? Is that the reason why mom cooked my favorite dish earlier? As questions keep bugging my mind, my boss suddenly laugh at me and says

"Yes they know about it, so what do you think, Shaira? You are the only hope of our company in there."

"What is the country, Sir?" I asked

He smiled at me and answered,

"South Korea"
