Chapter 4: Special Investigation Unit

White skin with six-pack muscles that looks very beautiful, slim body with a small waist that has always been covered with clothes. This time Aeturnus was the first to see him, Aeturnus couldn't hide the smile on his lips.

"White skin and a nice body, plus a handsome and stunning face. I'm very lucky to be the first to find him", Aeturnus thought looking at Ethan's shirtless body.

Ethan was embarrassed but he tried to cover it up and said, "Quickly get the blood and do the necessary checks".

Aeturnus who heard Ethan's words returned to the world and answered Ethan softly, "Okay".

Aeturnus starts taking Ethan's blood sample and then performs various tests again. Aeturnus looked at Ethan's face which was quite close to his face while examining Ethan's pheromone glands. Aeturnus felt he was hypnotized by Ethan's handsomeness and quickly kissed Ethan's cheek which made Ethan so shocked that he almost fell off the chair. Aeturnus immediately caught him and supported his waist so Ethan didn't fall.

With a mischievous voice, Aeturnus teased Ethan, "Why? One day we will also do more than this, you have to get used to touching and doing intimate things with me".

Ethan was about to answer but suddenly the door sounded, "Knock knock knock".

"Father, this is Agnis. Kenzo wants to meet you", someone called from outside the laboratory.

Hearing a voice from outside, Ethan felt very shocked and immediately distanced himself from Aeturnus. Aeturnus saw it and smirked before turning to open the door for Agnis

"What's wrong?" said Aeturnus who opened the door for Agnis.

"Father, Kenzo wants to meet to convey something important so I brought him directly to meet you", said Agnis who looked back.

Aeturnus glanced at Kenzo who was wearing a black robe and saluted Aeturnus, "Your Majesty".

"What do you want to say? Say it quickly, I'm quite busy", said Aeturnus who looked lazy.

"I would like to inform you that His Highness Aaron has disappeared and it is likely the werewolves that have taken him away. At the moment every effort is being made but Sir Eden is the only one in Vancouver and it will definitely be dangerous for Sir Eden to have him fight the werewolves alone", said Kenzo reporting what he knew.

"Haven't the Special Investigation Unit been able to find Aaron's exact whereabouts yet?" asked Aeturnus who was getting serious.

"Yes, Your Majesty. There seems to be a mole among the members of the Special Investigation Unit. I'm afraid that after this the werewolves might get rid of Sir Eden", said Kenzo who said his thoughts.

"What happened to Eden?", asked Ethan suddenly who came out of the laboratory and stood behind Aeturnus.

"Sir Ethan?"Kenzo was confused about Ethan's presence in the vampire leader's room.

Ethan, who since Kenzo's arrival has been sitting waiting in the laboratory, vaguely heard the conversation going on outside and Eden's name being called several times made him curious and worried so he quickly put his clothes back on and walked out.

Aeturnus who saw Ethan's arrival turned his head and said "Don't worry, I will ensure the safety of your little brother".

After telling Ethan, Aeturnus turned to take off his lab coat and said to Kenzo and Agnis "Let's go to the Special Investigations Unit first, and then we'll catch up to Vancouver".

"Okay, Your Majesty", said Kenzo, nodding.

"You wait here, I will bring Aaron and Eden back quickly", said Aeturnus telling Ethan to wait.

Aeturnus, who saw the uneasy situation outside, felt Ethan's safety was threatened so being in his place was the best thing to keep Ethan safe. But he doesn't think that for Ethan, Eden is the most important thing right now.

"I'm coming," said Ethan firmly.

"No, you stay here. The conditions outside are not safe even though Aaron could be easily kidnapped. You stay here", said Aeturnus so seriously that his forehead wrinkled.

"No! I have to come and see for myself if Eden and Aaron are okay", said Ethan very confidently.

"Hah, okay. Then, let's go to the Special Investigation Unit office first. Agnis you come too", said Aeturnus who finally gave up trying to persuade Ethan to stay where he was.

On the other hand, the Special Investigations unit's office is busy solving the mystery of their chief's lover's disappearance.

Jia said, "What did you see so focused until you did not hear the call from uncle Tian?".

Zee who turned to Jia showed a shocked and disbelieving face. Zee stammered while pointing at the computer screen, "Deputy Chief, he... he's in Vancouver with Chief Eden".

Tian heard it and immediately removed Zee from the computer and saw what Zee saw. On the computer screen, it was clear that Ryan booked the same plane ticket to Vancouver as Eden and Aaron, on the same day and time. Not only that, there is a history of hotel reservations which are also the same hotel as the hotel booked by Eden. Tian looked around again and it turned out that the flight ticket and hotel reservations were not only for Ryan but also for several other people. Tian was about to tell Jia to check the identity of the people who were with Ryan but suddenly Mark came and stared at the computer screen. Mark who heard Tian wanted to check the identity of the people immediately said, "I know them, aren't they the werewolf fighters who are the bodyguards of the werewolf leader?".

Everyone turned and looked at Mark who was a little confused. Mark asked, "What's wrong? I just came and you guys are like this?".

"Are you sure the names of these people are the names of the werewolf leader's bodyguards?" Tian asked Mark who was still confused.

Mark nodded and said, "Hm... yes, back then when I was at the shelter, I met them a few times so I knew them. They are fighters so the kids were really impressed with their fighting skills".

"Then, Ryan betrayed us?", said Jia whose voice became low.

They looked at each other and sighed. Tian said, "I didn't expect to meet a traitor in this unit after almost 30 years I worked here".

"And it was a human who betrayed us", said Jia who sighed and thought about the past days when everyone gathered and laughed together.

"I have to follow Eden, it will be dangerous if Eden meets them," said Tian who stood up from his seat.

"I'm going too", said Mark who stopped Tian.

"I and Zee are going there, you guys stay here and watch. I also need someone who can use computers well," said Tian, telling Jia and Mark to stay in the office.

"But, the chief is in danger and the opponent is a werewolf fighter. Wouldn't it be better if I joined? I'm also not as good as Zee when it comes to using computers", said Mark who was really worried.

Suddenly someone's voice was heard, "You guys stay here and stay on guard here, I will go after Eden".

Everyone turned and saw Ethan and Kenzo who came along with the vampire leader and another vampire who was Aaron's vampire brother. Aeturnus said casually, "You children stay here and watch, I can't take all of you".

Blood appeared in the room, the vampire leader with blood-red eyes looked at the special investigation unit logo plastered on the wall and smiled, "We'll be right back".

The blood that was originally only on the floor grew more and more and began to become like a blanket covering everyone around the Vampire Leader. Three vampires and one werewolf disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Eden sits in front of his laptop and is checking the CCTV cameras in the restaurant area until Eden can finally see a bright spot from where Aaron has disappeared. Eden was so surprised to see the figure of a friend revealed by the restaurant waiter, who was none other than Ryan. Eden is very surprised and angry to know the fact that the person who took Aaron away was Ryan.

Eden sees the car Ryan used to take Aaron away. Eden was closely observing the car but suddenly Eden was surprised by a very strong aura. Eden looked behind him and saw the blood that suddenly appeared from the floor and more and more, then the blood that formed like a tornado suddenly gave rise to the people inside.

"!!", Eden was very surprised to see the arrival of Ethan and the vampire leader.

"Eden, come on, we have to go to Aaron's place immediately," said Ethan who told Eden to approach him.

"Do you know where Aaron is?" said Eden who walked over to Ethan and then stood beside Ethan.

Blood covered them all and in a flash, they had all moved to a vacant lot behind the building that looked like a warehouse that had not been used for a long time. From afar, several werewolves were seen standing guard around the warehouse.

"Aaron is in there?" Eden asked the vampire leader.

"Go get Aaron", said Aeturnus who told Eden to leave.

After traveling long distances with his strength coupled with carrying a lot of people, Aeturnus felt quite tired but because they had not brought Aaron back and also seeing Ethan's face now looking at him gratefully made him feel that everything he did was worth it. Ethan couldn't come in because this time it was related to a werewolf so Ethan would just wait and watch outside. Kenzo also stood guard outside to check the situation and keep watch.

Eden looked at the vampire leader and nodded, Eden went along with another vampire who was Aaron's vampire brother. Eden looked at the man with a face like someone in their 30s which made the vampire turn to Eden and said, "I'm Angis, I heard you are Aaron's partner?".

Eden nodded and agreed, "Yes, Hm... I am Eden Abelardo".

After some time, Ethan saw Eden carrying Aaron out. Ethan immediately walked to Eden and followed him to take Aaron to the car that had been provided by Kenzo which had been missing for a while. Eden put Aaron in the car and Kenzo, who was carrying a big bag, took out his things which turned out to be blood and some medical equipment. Kenzo quickly performed a blood transfusion for Aaron and also stitched up his wound.

Seeing Kenzo who was taking care of Aaron, Ethan remembered that Aeturnus also came in after Eden and Agnis entered. Ethan looked left and right to look for Aeturnus who hadn't returned yet. He is not worried about Aeturnus' safety because he believes in Aeturnus' power but somehow he still feels restless when Aeturnus doesn't come back.

Before long, Aeturnus suddenly appeared beside Ethan which surprised Ethan but he didn't have time to say anything and Aeturnus first whispered in his ear with a teasing voice, "Eh, I'm fine. Why are you nervous, huh?".

Ethan was shocked and was about to answer but Aeturnus had already walked up to Kenzo and asked Kenzo about Aaron's condition, "How is he doing?".

Kenzo opened the car door and said, "Your Majesty, His Highness needs your power because the wound was caused by a silver blade so it can't heal by itself".

Aeturnus nodded and got into the car. Eden who was standing outside the car could only wait. Ethan patted Eden on the shoulder and said, "Everything will be fine".

Ethan sees how Aeturnus gives Aaron his powers by using his own blood as a way to heal Aaron. And somehow Ethan felt that he had felt the same way, a scent that was very similar to the scent that was currently around the car just after Aeturnus gave his blood. Ethan began to remember when he took a bath with Aeturnus, at that time he was asleep but he felt the same smell as now. Ethan widened his eyes at the blood flowing from Aeturnus' hand, he realized what happened then.
