31. Search and rescue
Sebastian finds Magnus not even two hundred meters into the jungle. He is unconscious and bleeding from a head wound. Someone bashed him over the head and good. But there are more defense wounds on his arms as well and his knife is missing. He was fighting back. He probably sustained a concussion and fell when he tried to walk on. The other guy probably made a compress over his wound and walked away. Not realizing that he signed his own death sentence. You are not supposed to walk with a wound like that. You make a tight compress and sit down. You have to stop moving and breathe shallowly to slow the bleeding. ‘That guy probably only thought about winning.’ The wolf smirks. ‘Probably.’ Sebastian sighs. ‘We have to get Magnus out of here.
