30. A body and a ship

Sebastian wakes up in the morning to a new unpleasant surprise. The light breeze from the sea brings with it a smell of blood. He sits under his tree and contemplates his options. Does he stay where he is? Should he go see who is bleeding? The possibility that it’s Magnus scares him. He would hate to lose his friend. And the smell is coming from the direction of the flag. That means that, while he was comfortably resting for the night, someone else came to the beach and took the flag. He takes a few of his bananas from his bag and thanks the stars that the other guy didn’t see him here. If he was so hellbent on winning that he fought with someone else, he might have murdered Sebastian in his sleep. The chances for that were slim, but he might not have woken up on time.
