Chapter 21
There’s a man in an airport, he is nervous. I see him duck into the nearest bathroom and loosens his tie in front of the mirror, he splashes some water on his face. A black mist comes out of the air vent and goes into his eyes, the man changes instantly. He is more confident and makes his way to the airplane. The flight attendant wishes him a good flight, he turns around and she gasps when she sees his black eyes. He smiles and walks to his seat. The airplane takes off and the man stares out the window. He asks the woman next to him how long they have been up and she tells him forty minutes. He excuses himself and walks to the airplane door and opens it, he flies out smiling and the airplane begins to shake. Jared is holding me when I open my eyes. “What is it?” He asks. I tell him about
