ISABELLA'S POV "Get on your knees and apologise!'' The mans voice thundered across the restaurant, silencing evey conversation around us. I stood frozen, staring at the broken wine glass scatterd across the marble floor. Red wine had stained the man's expensive shirt, every eyes in the room was fixed on me , i was breathing heavily and shaking. "I'm sorry sir, i whisperd''. It was an accident, i'll clean it up right now. Did i ask you to clean anything? He grabbed my wrist . Pain shot through my arm, but i refused to cry. I had learn a long time ago that tears only made people like him more powerful "Please let go of me, i said quietly . Who do you think you are, talking to me like this? Slowly i cleaned my eyes, bent my knees. I was ready to swallow my pride ,if it meant keeping my brother alive. Before my knees could touch the floor , a deep voice cut through thr room. ''Touch her again, and you will regret it.'' Everyone turned. A tall man stood near the entrance dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit. His expession was cold, his dark eyes fixed on the customer holding my wrist. Even my manager went pale. ''Mr Blackwood, he stammered. ALEXANDER BLACKWOOD The billoniare whoose name appeared in business magazines and whose company owned half the buildings in the city. He walked towards us with measured steps.
