Penelope stared at him. “So how do we get to murder?”
“She said that Mr. Myers ruined her life. She blamed him for her being fired and for losing Kevin Reed.”
“She’s something else.” Alexis huffed.
“Faye felt that if Brett hadn’t told Cynthia then Kevin wouldn’t hate Faye and she might’ve ended up with Kevin.”
“You didn’t mind that she still wanted Kevin?” Alexis asked.
“She said she wasn’t in love with Kevin anymore.” He pulled at his fingers. “She said she would always have a soft spot in her heart for him but didn’t belong with him.”
