Chapter 3

I was still feeling jetlagged as I and Brandon headed towards the reception, getting there we were approached by a group of individuals who were dressed in the uniform of the local police. We are the local police and have been assigned to help you guys solve the case the female cop said. As we walked out of the reception and filled into the pick-up van we took turns in introducing ourselves. After which we settled into a comfortable silence with a song of the 90's playing in the background. We are heading to the location where Ashley Lizbrook was kidnapped Joanne the female cop said.

After some time of driving we finally arrived at the scene where Ashley had been kidnapped. Alighting from the vehicle, Hazel walked to where the car stood undisturbed as she got closer she could feel the fear of her victim peering into the car she saw numerous books piled at every available space in the car hearing footsteps she turned around expecting to see her partner but was surprised to see Joanne standing behind her. From her point of view she couldn't see any signs of struggle. Looking at the sand for any evidences she found some drops of blood that led to a direction which meant he had used a vehicle to transport the victim looking closely she discovered shards of darkly coloured glass in a pattern. Gathering some of the broken shards into a cellphone tape. After which they rod back to the local police station for formalities. Later that evening as she stumbled into her hotel room she put a call across her boyfriend and Daisy after which she headed to the bathroom to the bathroom and did her business. Putting on her pajamas she ordered room service after which she fell asleep.
