Chapter 39 – A Horrible Week

“Don’t tell me that you are expecting Eren to come? That’s absurd, Ali. I don’t want to have a masochistic friend.”
Channel rolled her eyes after stating that ridiculous question. Of course, I gave her a ridiculous sneer before looking back at my bag. Our class reached the end of another day, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that.
Being able to get back home without tears in my eyes only meant that I was able to survive another peaceful day in this school. Not because I was being bullied again but due to the fact that Steve could pop out in front of me any second of the day.
The information that I heard from my brother is still ringing in my ears. I could still remember how hard I cried that night while I was recalling the story that he said.
