When Demmy got to the dining room, she sat down on the other side of the table

"good evening sir"

"come and sit here, beside me and stop calling me sir", he tapped on the chair he wanted her to sit on. Demmy stood up and walked slowly to the seat next to him, she took her seat and faced the table, Kelvin pulled her chair closer to him, making Demmy flinch, she looked at him, her eyes asking the questions, but he ignored it and refused to answer.

"tomorrow, Okiki will take you to the mall, for shopping, don't pick cheap clothes" he stated and she frowned.

"what do you mean by cheap?" she folded her arms. kelvin ignored her and placed a phone on the table,

"this is yours, a sim card is there, you can only call two people, me and Okiki."

"but, why? what if i make new friends? and i have to call Tolani, only she can know my whereabouts, so she can help me check up on my mother"

"who is Tolani?"

"she's my best friend, don't worry she can be trusted."

She assured him

"hmm, so three people now, okay i have no problem with that. You will need a new identity, and an anonymous location."

"okay, but can we eat first? i'm quite hungry"

her stomach growled, this made Demmy more ashamed, Kelvin could not longer conceal his laughter, he laughed slightly and served her

"let me do it, kelvin"

"no, its the little i can do for your little monster."

he smiled

"but, i should be the one, serving, i am the girl friend"

kelvin stopped to think for a while, then a mischievous smile appeared on his face

"there are many things you will do, girlfriend. starting from now."

He sat down on the chair when he was done serving, then he held her hands and pull her closer to him,

"sit on my laps, and feed me, girlfriends do that to their boyfriends"

demmy was so shocked, she slapped her face with her palms softly

"kelvin, i told you, i can do anything apart from, from, intimacy, you know"

"you are not sitting on it, you are just sitting on my laps, also get ready to kiss me in public"

demmy's jaws dropped, she stuttered

"what!???"

"that's for later though, but for now, do as i have said"

she looked at him waiting for him to say he is kidding, but he was serious, Demmy had never done anything like that before, shyly she sat down on his knees, Kelvin raised a brow, and pulled her closer to him.

"ill feed you, im teaching you how to be free with me, so when we have visitors, our relationship won't look like an act. Also, tomorrow On in I will bring you to my hospital for checkup."

"fair enough" Demmy said, and took the spoon from his hand, he wasn't expecting that, she began to eat without delay, she ate the bowl of rice in his presence and drank water to step down. Kelvin did nothing but look at the little lady eat in his presence, was she so hungry? its gonna be a long lesson, she's not romantic at all, he thought.

After eating, Demmy stood up, but he pulled her back, she stood up again, he pulled her by her waist down and held her waist

"kelvin, leave me alone, i am done eating now"

"as a good girl friend and fiancee to be, you have to feed me too, you only fed yourself"

Demmy sighed and picked the spoon then feed him

"open your mouth", kelvin obeyed,

"do not look down, look me in the eye, be romantic"

"its not easy to be romantic to someone you just met on Saturday night, this is Sunday night, and so much have happened. why are you rushing me?"

now she looked at him

"because, my younger sister, Katherine is coming next week, if she comes she spends up to a month, i need to fool her first, then i can fool every one if she's fooled. when she comes, we have to sleep in the same room"

"same room? with you? oh God, will there be two beds?"

"no, you have any problems with it?, you prefer spending the night with an old man?"

Demmy frowned and sighed, i get it now, she said in her head. She was so annoyed if it was a random guy she would have tortured him by now, but he was helping her, they were bothe helping each other.

"also you can't be a model, for now, because modeling draws attention, i understand that you don't want to be a liability, but for now the media is what you should avoid. Fashion designing is better, you can advertise your clothes anonymously, i don't know how you plan to do it though"

he said frankly and ate from the food she was about to feed him. Demmy was lost in thought after hearing him, a few moment later, she jumped up excitedly and sat down separately on the chair she sat before, she faced him with a big smile on her face.

"oh Kelv, can i call you Kelv?"

kelvin seemed to think for a while, but before he could respond, Demmy continued to speak

"so Kelv, i have a very good idea, and i don't even need to take care of my face for it, all i need not is a sewing machine, mine is at home, and an ankara fabric and a drawing book and a pen and"

Kelvin Cut her short, she was talking too fast

"do you always talk this fast?... you will get all this things tomorrow along side your new clothes and shoes, just tell Okiki please let me eat in peace, my food is already getting cold."

Demmy blinked severally and smiled excitedly, she took Kelvin's hands and shook it excitedly.

kelvin was surprised, he opened his mouth in shock, then she left to the room to her room

"goodnight Kelv"

she shouted and the sound of the door was heard next, Kelvin smiled playfully, from a smile it turned to slight laughter.

"hmm mm, this lady has made you smile today for almost ten times, and i have never seen you smile before boss, its a miracle, I've been working for you for two years now, and " Okiki said with his arms akimbo

"i have been his Nanny since he was 16, Kelvin just gave a genuine smile today, its so lovely to see it"

The old woman said, Kelvin went back to his old self, frown, he frowned at the both of them and continued to eat.

"after shopping tomorrow, bring her to my office at the hospital, so i can carry out some tests."

"yes boss. what kind of clothes?"

"let her pick, i know it woube responsible, just take note of her size nothing more".

Okiki nodded and greeted his boss goodnight, Kelvin's nanny sat closer to Kelvin while he was eating, Kelvin rolled his eyes and cleaned his mouth with a napkin

"mama, speak, what did you want to say?"

he looked at her with intense attention, he so much respected her, she was like his second mother after his mother's death.

"why are you trying to fool your father? why don't you want to get married? i know this lady is not your girlfriend."

"i am not just ready, maybe when i am 30"

"you will be 28 next month you know?"

"yes, so in two years time i will be 30 then i will get married"

"but at least have a person till then so yiu won't have to start searching by then"

"uhhhh, Mama, i have heard, next year i will find a person."

"so about your contract girlfriend?"

"i don't know, once daddy stop and next year is in 10 months time, so by then i will be 29 so i will start looking for the right girl. how about that?"

although everything he saud made no sense to mama, she still smiled.

"so a year contract is what you mean?"

"yes mama. now if you will excuse me, i need to sleep, tomorrow is a big day for me, i have to watch my hospital and daddy's business as the heir"

he said disgusted, and hugged Mama, then he left to his room. Mama smiled and packed the plaits to the kitchen she went.
