Yeah, deep in her heart, Riley knew that. Eash loves her so much at that. But their relationship began with Eash trying to deceive her. The interest he showed in her initially was completely fake. Riley didn't know how she could wrap her mind around that. How could she just ignore it? It's not about that one thing, but it's about deceiving her and lying to her in general. Eash has lied to her about two things, and both of them are pretty serious. What guarantee does she have to believe that he won't lie to her again? That he won't break her heart again?
