Riley's 19th birthday is approaching soon, which means Eash's and Ezra's birthdays are also coming up. Earlier, they had planned to celebrate this grandly. They wanted to go somewhere far, just the three of them, and celebrate. However, now, after what has recently occurred, they no longer talk about that grand celebration. But Ezra always talked about celebrating Riley's birthday, telling them it is her first birthday to celebrate with them, so it should be memorable. He suggested going to their apartment and celebrating together at midnight, which Riley rejected, saying she was in no mood to do so. Eash became even more heartbroken when she refused that.
