I decided to grab lunch and a drink hoping it would mellow me before I went out tonight. On the way over I run into Tabitha, she more of an acquaintance but the closest thing I have to a friend. "Hi lady you done for the day?" Its not like she doesn't know my schedule "yea just gonna go get a bit and a beer then head

home." Not wanting to be rude "Hey you wanna join me I got an hour or so to kill." We walk silently to a small bar & grill, its the main hang spot for collage kids, I pick a table not in the back but not to close to the front right in the middle so you can see everything that's happening. I glance around seeing several familiar face one in particular catches my eye he's sitting in the back with a leggy red head on his lap as if he can feel my stare he looks up and gives me a flirty smile, which pisses me off, he's got a girl on his lap while flirting with another or maybe I'm reading it wrong. He goes to stand up and its like he forgot she was even there the girl almost hits the floor, he speaks in a hushed tone then she starts making a seen. I turn in my chair to wait for my food Tabitha says Well that was interesting" I just grunt

and look away when I notice him moving through the crowd my way "I'm gonna run to the restroom be back" I rush from the table almost knocking it over making sure he doesn't see me I head to the bar ask them if they could change my food to a to go box then rush off. As luck would have it I run smack into him

"What's the rush?" I think it comes out as a sentence "I've got someplace to be and my friend is waiting so if you will excuse me" nope not that easy "I'm sure you got a second". I really wanted to be anywhere but there at that moment couldn't he see that or was that part of it? "What's with the looks like I'm dirt on the

bottom of your shoe. I've only ever seen you twice I don't think I could've upset you that much." I'm ready to disappear be anywhere but there "You interrupted me during class to what make small talk then tonight you smile at me flirting while another girl is on your lap so I would say you are a bit rude. Look I don't

have time for this I've got somewhere important to be so if you would excuse me." I turn in the direction of the restroom and he grabs my arm "You didn't seem to busy five minutes ago when you were with your friend and I know you haven't received a call, so I'm going to assume its me so now whose being rude as well as a liar?" Did he just call me a liar really "how dare you, you don't know anything about me. Not that I have to explain but I didn't realize how late it had gotten I came to see if they would make my order a to go and was gonna go to the restroom while they did so." He looked skeptical because of coarse I was lying I wanted out of there as fast as I could but he didn't know that. "So your saying me being here has nothing to do with you leaving or is it that you wanted to be the one sitting on my lap." Could he be more full of himself "As if I really want attention from a pompous ass like you we've been in the same class for months and I still don't know your name because I really don't care to know it. I really don't even know why you go to class, its not like you need to rich boy." Okay so that was a little over the top but he's really

pissing me off and it threw him enough I was able to slip away
