Parker: I wake dreading the day hoping it would be over already. Its rumored there will at least one pop quiz today then you have the dreadful fundraiser. The men bragging about there latest big deal the women giving fake compliments while whispering behind each others backs the sons trying to find there next score while the daughters trying to find a wealthy husband to boss around. Most of the people that attend these things rarely know which cause there supporting and as long as they write the bigger check they don't usually care either. As if that wasn't enough getting a call from daddy dearest first thing is always a mood setter. He called to remind me of tonight and let me know he would be attending with a guest. Guess he decided to bring his latest flavor of the week with him this time. Walking across campus that morning, I caught myself looking around for a pretty brunette with freckles and green eyes. I only had English twice a week so I knew the odds of seeing her today were against me but I had a feeling if anything could help me get through today it would be her even if it was just a glance it would give me something to focus on. By my third class of the day I had lost all hope that I would see her, hell I was starting to think I made her up. The day was over had a few hours before I had anywhere to be, I pack up my thinks make my way across the court yard heading back to the dorm, a buddy of mines hollers to get my attention "hey man wait up. Some of us are going to get a bite and a few drinks wanna come?" I decide why not it's been a rough day maybe it will help loosen me up. "Sure why not I haven't got any place to be for a few hours." We pick a table in the back hoping not to be bothered ,but its almost like these girls are trained to smell money. They make there way to our table, one even sits right down on my lap like she was invited not wanting to be rude or make a seen I let her stay there while ignoring whatever she is saying. I'm looking over the menu when I feel eyes on me I look up to see the girl I've been search for hoping to get a glance just to make sure she was real forgetting about the girl I look at her and give a flirty smile at which she rolls her eyes and turns back to her friend. Confused I decide to go ask her what her deal is when I go to stand I remember the little red head on my lap, well guess that explains today but what about yesterday. I push the red head off my lap telling her to find a new seat. She screams "What the hell to think I was planning to let you take me home." Grabbing her friends arm she starts to storm off "I don't recall inviting you" if looks could kill Id be dead.
