Chapter 1
THIRD PERSON POV
The Kingdom of Lunaris
The Kingdom of Lunaris, a powerful, ancient werewolf kingdom known throughout the supernatural realm for its riches, powerful kings and queens, elemental power passed through the royal bloodline. The throne was passed from one generation to another until it reached Lucius.
Lucius was a good king, just, powerful, respected throughout the realm. Lucius met his mate, Lysandra, from the Gold Moon Pack, and he accepted her and made her his queen.
The Prophecy and Betrayal
There was a prophecy lost through time, and the prophecy said: "The Alpha King and his mate from the Gold Moon Pack shall birth a girl with powers of mass destruction. Gods shall challenge her and fail. Her power knows no end. She shall be the one to destroy the werewolves and save them."
The rogues and their king, Commander Thorn kept the prophecy scrolls, not to save the werewolves but use the girl for their own agenda.
Lucius and Lysandra birthed a daughter, named her Mia.
On the child's birth, the moon split in two, red and blue. There was a mass celebration. (Lucius's best friend and beta was Commander Thorn, was the commander of the rogues.) At midnight, Thorn sneaked out and opened the palace gates for his pack of rogues.
He betrayed the pack, kingdom, and Lucius's friendship. They killed and enslaved all.
Lucius, the Alpha king, more powerful than all wolves, was killing the rogues but was weakened by the help of a witch.
Thorn r***d Lysandra and told 30 of his men to r**e her in front of Lucius. They took Mia, killed Lucius, and left.
Thorn had no intentions of sitting on the throne; he just wanted to be superior and show everyone he could take the kingdom at a flick of his finger. Lysandra, haunted by what happened, ran away and left the kingdom. Thorn put his son, Thanos, on the throne.
The kingdom became a mess. All the alphas were killed, and their betas were to take over until the alpha son are ready to take over.
The story of Lucius and Lysandra was lost; few remember, but they are afraid to speak or act because of Thanos.
