They both ran into the little cottage outside the garden as they heard their names being called by their Beta.
“Oh goddess, I am so sorry”, Leander exclaimed as he realized that he had just been kissing Devara.
Devara stared at him, blinking and unable to believe that he was actually apologizing.
“What?”
Leander panicked, taking her question as her being angry at his behavior.
“I’m so sorry, I really didn’t mean to just kiss you”, he apologized.
Devara was breathing hard now as she stared at him, wanting to hit him for some reason.
“You didn’t mean to kiss me?”, she asked, her voice waxing strong, even though she was anything but strong.
