Chapter 11
When Nina came to live with them, there was a period of adjustment. Trey had wondered if Karen and Nina would get along and if having Nina there would strain his evolving relationship with Landon. Oddly enough after a few days of awkwardness, the whole thing seemed to smooth out some.
Landon was still limping badly but had been given permission to stop using the crutches. The surgeon who had sewed him back together indicated physical therapy would be helpful, but Landon had put off the decision for at least a week, claiming he could manage on his own. Trey worried Landon was pushing too hard, per usual.
