"And do you have a problem with that?" Kevin tilts his head to the side and shoots the boy a glare.
The class is dead silent_ the kind of silence when you can hear the sound of a pin drop. I can only assume all eyes on us, because my eyes are staring at the two boys fighting over me. It sounds a little backwards to think like that, I know, but can you blame me? Two boys fighting over me. Not in the situation you'd expect it to be, yet it's still thrilling.
I'm having mixed feelings at the moment, I'm still seething over how Kevin messed with me but I'm also… Excited? Why though? Maybe it has to do with the drop-dead gorgeous boy standing right in front of me.
The boy only shrugs, still glaring at Kevin.
"Get your hands off me, you freak." Kevin scowls at him, his face contorting into a look of horror. He tries to pull his hands away but the grip tightens.
I stifle a giggle. I bet he knows how that feels.
"What is going on over there?" A voice booms from across the classroom.
The class turns into chaos, with laughter and hoots filling the air. My gaze drifts to Mr.Armand at the far end of the class. He definitely looks pissed.
The boy quickly lets go of Kevin's hands and they all turn to face Mr.Armand.
"Return to your seats or leave my class respectfully." He warns.
Mr Armand is an old indian teacher in the school. He is freaking educated and also grumpy. I don't know much about him… Well except that his daughter, a senior and the head cheerleader for the varsity football team, also attend this school.
Kevin immediately gets down from the table and goes back to his but the boy remains standing, intently staring at me.
At this point, he deserves a name, I can't keep calling him "the boy" Maybe my knight in shining armor? Oh s**t. I'm being too cheesy.
"Are you okay?" He asks, staring down at me. The entire class is watching.
My eyes shoot up to his concerned face. He looks so dreamy "I'm fine." It comes out a little more defensive than I intended. I cringe a little, _I can't imagine what he's thinking right now. And you also can't imagine what I'm thinking.
Pretty weird thoughts.
He sends me a curt nod and moves to his seat that is two rows away from mine to my left. My eyes follow him the entire time. It's only when he leaves, I remember I didn't say thank you and that I was kinda rude. Omg, He probably thinks I'm such a b***h. I mean who wouldn't? If it wasn't for him, Kevin might have done worse.
The entire lesson, I couldn't help my eyes drift to the seat two rows besides me. I have never been boy crazy, not because I don't want to. All my life, I've never got to associate with many boys, that would explain why I am shamelessly drooling over dark-brown long hair, grey eyes that are unfortunately hidden with glasses, perfectly pointed nose, tanned skin and pink lips. Overall, the f*****g hot guy that is obliviously dribbling on a book not aware I'm watching his every move.
Like how his hair falls over his face, how his gaze is fixed on the teacher and the continuous finger taps on his thighs. I'm invested.
When the class ends, Mr Armand announces that our test will be held the next class. Already having multiple tests this week, it's wearing me out and I doubt I'll be able to keep up.
I fist my face in frustration and let out an annoyed huff. I slip the literature textbook on my desk into my bag. My eyes wander around to catch" My knight" heading towards the door, I hurriedly plop the bag over my shoulders and rush to catch up with him.
Alyssa steps in front of me blocking my way, I shift my gaze from her to "my knight" but he steps out of class.
i'm gonna die.
I focus my eyes back on Alyssa who is wearing a s**t-eating grin. "Hey Leah"
"Hi" I mutter as more of a question, quirking my brows at the unexpected friendliness. Naturally I'd never expect Alyssa talking to me again but here we go.
" Miss Olivia wants to see you."
My heart sinks, she has probably seen me earlier and she definitely won't let me re-take the test. Oh God, I'm screwed.
She looks at me, her doe-like eyes narrowing. "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing, where is she at?" I blurt.
"She's right outside the school building by the__" She pauses, "you know what? I'll walk you there, I don't think you'll understand."
I don't think you'll understand? I don't know why but I'm taking offense at that statement. I try to shake off the feeling, maybe I'm just being paranoid.
I nod silently in reply and she heads out of the class with me trailing behind. I even stop at my locker and pretend to drop some books but she still insists on walking me.
She leads us out of the building and into the theatre that's away from the main building. The door creaks open and we step into the dimly lit theatre with a bunch of girls dancing on stage to inaudible music. She cranes her head sideways suspiciously before closing the door behind us.
I wasn't sure before, but now I definitely know something's up. I halt, looking around. "So, I don't think Miss Olivia is here, why did you lie to get me here?"
She summons two girls that were dancing before with a nod and they head towards us. She now faces me with a mischievous grin playing on her face.
"Aww Leah, I wasn't lying." She fakes a pathetic pout.
I roll my eyes and turn around moving towards the door but the two girls grip me by my arm.
