Vampire Bite

ACT ONE; SCENE SEVENTEEN

PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL

MONDAY

Exactly 1 month since ROY

Winter is gone and the sun shines on promising spring. SAKIKO'S side is almost done healing since the attack from ROY, with AKISE'S help it'll fully heal with no complications. SAKIKO continues to walk down the hallway to her class with books in hand. Passing by the second classroom, the one she needed was just up ahead until a group of girls turn the corner on the other side. The four girls made their way towards SAKIKO, stopping her from entering her class. SAKIKO glares at the blonde ring-leader, 'f**k this snooty b***h club', she thinks to herself.

BLONDIE: You broke Brittney's hand!

BLONDIE points a perfect pink manicured nail at BRITTNEY who wore a cast. BRITTNEY immediately looks down and steps farther behind the group. Wanting no part in this situation. SAKIKO doesn't notice this as she keeps glaring down BLONDIE, getting more irritated every second she has to look at this dumb b***h.

SAKIKO (snaps) : I also threatened her, you done stating the obvious!

The second girl; BRUNETTE, steps up and shoves SAKIKO hard against the lockers. The three girls giggle and move closer while BRITTNEY stays where she is and merely watches.

BRUNETTE (leans closer towards SAKIKO'S face) : You got some nerve threatening one of us, did you forget who we are dumb-ass?

BRUNETTE slaps across SAKIKO'S face, leaving a soon to be red print on her right cheek. 'Strike one', the voice echoes through SAKIKO'S head, giving the girls a chance to stop what their doing. Before SAKIKO completely tore them a new one.

BLONDIE: Do something b***h!

BLONDIE grabs a fist-full of SAKIKO'S hair and pulls her towards herself. 'Strike two'. The third girl who's stayed out so far comes up and punches SAKIKO on her side exactly where the cut is. Immediately SAKIKO grabs the third girl's wrist, twists it behind her back causing her to scream out in pain. SAKIKO throws her into BRUNETTE making them tumble to the ground. BRITTNEY takes another step back as she watches the fight unfold. SAKIKO then grabs BLONDIE'S hair and turns the tables by slamming her into the lockers where she just was. BLONDIE'S head, rattles from the smack and she slides down, giving SAKIKO the opportunity to climb on top of her and start wailing her with punches. Soon the teacher from SAKIKO'S class comes out, popping his head out to see the commotion. Seeing SAKIKO beating up another student he rushes over to remove her off of BLONDIE. SAKIKO struggles against his hold.

SAKIKO (trying to reach for BLONDIE) : Strike three b***h! You're out!

BLONDIE'S face is swollen with the promise of two black eyes in the morning, SAKIKO is then escorted by her teacher to the principals office.

AKISES CLASSROOM

AKISE sits in class chewing on her pencil as she zones out the teacher's lecture. Hearing things she's already known for centuries. Her desk partner right next to her takes notes diligently until he looks over and scoots his head closer.  

STUDENT (whispers) : Dude, did you hear what happened in the hallway?

AKISE wasn't good friends with him but she still got along with him as a classmate, he grew a liking to her due to the fact she helps him cheat on his tests.

AKISE (doesn't look his way) : Does it matter?

STUDENT: Well it does have something to do with your girlfriend.

AKISE is fully listening now, she turns her head to him making the student back up from her face.

STUDENT: Supposedly she beat up like 3 other girls because they we're going to jump her for beating up another group member there.

AKISE smiles to herself as she gets up, the teacher stops lecturing and is about to say something. Until AKISE locks eyes with the teacher and starts concentrating.

AKISE (using compulsion) : You will let me go and not mark me absent.

The teacher just keeps staring at AKISE as she slowly shakes her head 'yes'. AKISE looks around at the students who are amazed at this.

AKISE (smiles) : Matter of fact, class is done and you will dismiss us.

TEACHER (dazed) : You . . . are . . . dismissed.

The students all holler and cheer as they quickly get up to leave before the teacher changed her mind. AKISE grabs her belongings and walks out, heading to the only location where SAKIKO is right now. Walking up to the principals office, which at this point she knew the route like the back of her hand, she walks in to SAKIKO quickly turning around and flashing her a big smile. But AKISE didn't smile back, instead she stares SAKIKO down with a 'your in trouble look'. SAKIKO looks down and faces forward in her seat, MRS. BROWN the principal keeps looking at AKISE in confusion.  

MRS. BROWN: Akise what ar-

AKISE: You are going to forget SAKIKO'S incident and let us go back to class.

MRS. BROWN stops talking and smiles, looking over at SAKIKO she waves her off.

MRS. BROWN: Your good to go back SAKIKO, sorry for the mix up, enjoy your day. Oh! Akise, what a lovely surprise how may I assist you?

AKISE (smug) : Don't worry about it Mrs., you've already helped me plenty, I'm just here to take Sakiko back to class.

And with that the two girls left the office while MRS. BROWN keeps sitting at her desk, thinking about how nice these girls are. Closing the office door behind them AKISE grabs SAKIKO'S wrist and they start walking away fast.

SAKIKO (being dragged) : Akise that hurts!

Once they got to a hallway completely empty AKISE pushes SAKIKO against the lockers, SAKIKO'S eyes go wide of fear of what would happen. But then AKISE starts to laugh, loosening her grip on SAKIKO'S wrist, she laces her fingers with hers.

AKISE: I've never been so proud of you, standing up to those bitches of a group.

SAKIKO smiles back in return, laughing along with AKISE; wanting to re-live the moment of seeing BLONDIE'S face beaten to a pulp. AKISE comes up closer until their body to body, SAKIKO'S smile gets a bit goofy. Feeling and wanting to feel AKISE, she starts leaning down and expecting a kiss, SAKIKO closes her eyes.

AKISE (smiles and moves to SAKIKO'S ear) : Get to class sexy.

SAKIKO opens her eyes in disappointment and pouts.

SAKIKO (complains) : But I don't wanna!

AKISE just chuckles and shakes her head, giving SAKIKO a peck to her lips, she turns her around and shoves her to the direction of her classroom. SAKIKO begrudgingly goes, dragging her feet across the floor, while AKISE goes to her next class. Sitting by the classroom door that's still within the current period, she grabs out a book and reads to pass the time away.
