Chapter Fifteen

It wasn’t even a week from their return from Bhatinda that MaNan went to Jamaica as promised to his beloved.

The whole journey was one to be remembered for Nandini and Manik couldn’t keep his heart away from getting attached to her yet again. It was her first flight journey, that too in business coach. She could hardly sleep for an hour as her excitement didn’t allow at all.

It was nearly after 12-13 hours that they reached their resort floating on water, in Jamaica. She befriended a girl of nearly her own age who was there on a solo trip, Naina. Naina was all well until Nandini eyed her looking at Manik while her eyes held something more than just a stare.

Nandini was out after a steamy night for just a walk, a km away around a field meant for jogging. Manik bid her bye since he was busy with some office work when suddenly Naina entered their cottage.

“Naina, Nandini isn’t here. She is out for jog-“ He was all calm until she spoke the next words walking towards him “Who wants to see her when the other person is more than hot?”

“Excuse me?” Manik stood up and looked curtly at her “Oh please! I have met many ‘hard to play' guys, I just hope you are hard on be-“

“Shut the f*** up and get out right now!” She smirked and looked at his bare chest since he wasn’t wearing something on his chest.

She walked to him in the blink of an eye and quickly caressed his cheek when he pushed her and she fell on the floor.

“Naina?” It wasn’t him but his better half.

It was Naina, who was sobbing. She gathered her shrug and looked at Nandini.

"Nandini..Ma..Nikk..He forced...edd..me" She faked sobbing. Manik hurriedly turned towards Nandini and said "Nandini..She.." He was stopped by Nandini's hand who asked him to stop . She looked at him with tears "Please stop"

Naina smiled slyly as she was sure that it caused a rift between MaNan.

Walking to him, she looked at his face which was emotionless. Tears were welling up in his deep brown orbs. She caressed his stubble “Seven years!” She spoke these two words and walked towards Naina and dragged her outside “STAY AWAY!”

Her words weren’t just mere words but something built on the base od trust. She reminded him of the seven long years and how trustful both were. He smiled and felt proud of his Nandini.

He softly pulled her walking to her who smacked his chest “Wear something! I can’t always drag women out!”

“Let’s go somewhere else?” He pressed his lips on her forehead while she wrapped her tiny hands around his waist “Anywhere with you!”
