Chapter Sixteen

Its been 19 days since they are in Paris. Nandini and Manik decided to forget the worse memory. Every day was becoming a beautiful memory for them. They were the happiest. Perfect.

9 pm.

Nandini was sitting on the dressing table, clad in beautiful pajamas looking the cutest. Well, who wear Pajamas in Honeymoon right? But it was her husband's wish.

She eyes Manik who was working on the laptop with his specs on. She blushed gazing at her handsome-est husband. Manik felt her gaze, he looked at the mirror and found his most beautiful wife blushing looking at him. He twisted his eyebrows and asked by his eyebrows *What baby?* She blushed and answered by shaking her head *Nothing*

He smiled, kept the laptop and his specs on the table and walked towards her. He smiled and tied her open hairs in a plait. She smiled eyeing her multi-talented husband.

Manik smiled and kissed her neck and whispered "I am in the balcony. Want you, Just you" His voice made her melt for him. She blushed deeply eyeing him walking towards the balcony.

She smiled and looked at the mirror , one last time to see if she was looking beautiful or not. Well, wasn't she aware of the fact that she with dark circled eyes , messed up hairs, looking seriously ugly will get compliment from her husband that she's a beauty, from outside as well as inside. She was that lucky.

She walked towards the beautiful balcony which just witnessed the Eiffel tower and a beautiful bed arranged for them.

She saw her husband lying on the bed with a half sitting position and calling her to accompany. She smiled and made her place with placing her head on his heart i.e his chest and her body between his legs with him snaking his arms around her waist. They were perfect for one another.

"Manik, are we perfect?" She asked our of nowhere.

"It's our imperfections which makes us perfect for one another" He whispered and caressed her hairs while she smiled and snuggled more.

"You know..Manik" She started.

"Yes?" He was always ready to hear her out, even the nonsense-est talks.

“We were such a happy family. A five year old Nandini who was so pampered that all the other toddlers used to get jealous of me..” She giggled a little while he kissed her head and caressed her hair. He knew what she was talking about. He had heard about it a million times and everytime he did, his heart broke like a piece of glass “Papa and Mumma were so romantic, you have no idea! One day, they had to go out for a very romantic dinner! Mumma was looking so pretty in that red dress which was red with blood.. And I saw them the last time.. The rolled up car and my parents lying in a pool of blood on the hospital beds... I tr..tried calling them..” She smiled looking at the stars and snuggled closer to him while he caressed her back.

“I don’t know Appa how do you make her cry everytime whenever I am up for a romantic mood!” She giggled softly and said “No parents like to see their children romancing!”

“I love you, so do they!” He kissed her head while she nodded and smiled “You miss them so much, no?”

"I used to. Until you came and became my life" She looked at him with glittery eyes.

"You don't know Mrs. Malhotra, how much I love you. You are one of the strongest..No...You are the strongest soul I've ever met. And the purest too" He said and kissed her lips softly as if trying to heal her. She smiled in between and reciprocated.

"I love you too" Their moment was broken. Manik eyed a baby who was enjoying with his mother. He smiled whole-heartedly at the baby who was giggling. Nandini turned towards and too witnessed his glowing eyes and the baby.

"You love babies" She asked.

"Who doesn't. They are so pure hearted and innocent" He muttered winning his wife's heart.

"We will have one soon" She whispered and entwined their hands.

"Let me pamper my big baby first" He said and giggled while she pouted "Manik..Not a babyy"

"Myyy babyyy..Only minee" He said while she blushed and doddled a heart on his chest "Yours. Onlyy yours" He smiled seeing her shyness and hugged her.
