Chapter Eighteen

"Maa, when will they return?" Nandini along with Nyonika was working on the kitchen as it was Sunday while Manik and Raj went to the office as works were left pending. Manik went to the office for the first time after his marriage so he had to work so much.

"Oh don’t worry! It’s almost time.." Nyonika smiled and just then the door bell rang while Nandini smiled at her who reciprocated.

Both walked towards their husbands but Nandini stood behind Nyonika. Nyonika understood her dilemma so she pulled her with her and made her stand near Manik and blinked her eyes. Both hugged their husbands who with love and tiredness reciprocated the hug.

"Get fresh! I will arrange the dinner for us." She ruffled his hairs who smiled and pecked her forehead.

"Uth, not now honey! I am very tired. I just have a bath and will sleep for a while” He said and directly went to their room to have a refreshing bath.

Nandini walked to the kitchen Nyonika smiled and said "Beta...I am lucky to have you..I know might have felt that I welcome Manik first and you should not snatch that right from me" She caressed her hairs who looked down nodding.

"You are one angel..Don't worry I understand Manik is married now..And even Yashvardhan needs attention and love from me.." Nyonika hugged Nandini.

"Now go to your roomand shower him with care while I will send for the dinner.." Nyonjka suggested a blushing Nandini who looked towards her and asked "Lekin kitchen ka kaam?"

"I will order the servants" Nyonika kissed her forehead who ran towards her room leaving a giggling Nyonika behind who was back hugged by Yashvardhan.

Nandini smiled and inhaled the fragrance. It was his smell. She smiled and sat on the bed and found a tired Manik not even being able to dry his hairs.

She smiled and called him towards her who smiled and lied on the bed with his head on her lap.

She dried his hairs and kissed his forehead “You worked so hard, today!” she whispered against his forehead and pecked his forehead while. He snuggled closer to her.

“Okay! You sleep, we will have dinner later” she said and kissed his eyes who smiled and whispered “i love you”

“i love you moreee” she said and started pressing his forehead to relieve him off the stress.

Such adorable love was theirs. Who cared for one another like a guardian.
