CHAPTER THREE.

After a few hours of sleep I woke up hungry so I decided to go to the nearby fastfood to grab a plate of spaghetti and chicken when I was done I took a stroll around the town enjoying the view, where I see beautiful places, people and cars it was an exciting site for me I felt amazed as I took a taxi and went home, on my way I sighted this beautiful lady having a walk with her Chihuahua I was so excited because she was the lady I was expecting I quickly asked the taxi to pull over I paid him off and stood there for a few minutes thinking of how I could approach her without having so much anxious.

I belt up courage and walk up to her "hello good evening" am Dalton from Texas I live here you must be my neighbor she stood for a while and said do you know me?... I said no! she said what can I do for you?... I said sorry I am not asking for anything I just want to make friends she picked up her dog and said I don't talk to strangers and she turn back going towards the estate, I slowly followed her "if you don't mind can I at least know your name?..." she stopped and said No!... walking to her flat I couldn't stop walking with her she stopped again and said one more step I'll call the police; I became scared I slowly walked back to my block on my way I turn to her from afar, "hello lady with a loud voice ill see you some other time!..." I walked to my room and went straight to my kitchen trying to sight her through her kitchen window but she didn't show up I am sure she got caught up with something else.

I was hoping and waiting for few more minutes as I was about giving up she stepped into her kitchen took a glass of water and left without even looking through her window I went back to my living room and trying to concentrate I then remembered I just had my first experience at work as HR I smiled and started thinking about all the warmth welcome today and how the beautiful african assistant secretary treated me at work today honestly it was so amazing I quickly put on my TV got a movie on Netflix went to the kitchen and got for myself some cheese and a glass of water walkes back to the living room and enjoyed myself this time as the HR of a big company oh yes that sounds good.

I grabbed my phone and went through my messages and discovered I had a lot of messages I was worried on how to replied to all these messages and didn't know what to do but to replied the most important ones and yes I had to reply the others at my leisure time it was amazing and beautiful having such an amazing colleagues that made me believe am gonna be staying on this relocation for a long time knowing also that I've got a beautiful neighbor which I believe would some day give me her attention for sure I dozed off on the couch while watching a movie after a few hours of sleep my alarm rang and it was morning.

I quickly went to the bathroom brushed my teeth and took my bath when I got done dressing up I went to the kitchen and microwave my breakfast as I was eating a thought of how work is going to be with the secretary resuming today, remembering all the driver had said about her I then heard a noise from the beautiful lady's kitchen I quickly looked I saw her busy running around the kitchen I was caught up with her beauty again; this time she was on cooperate, she honestly look good on that dress I then looked at the time and realized it's almost time for work and am supposed to pick up some of my presentation of today's meeting I quickly ran in and took it; I called my driver and he said am close sir, he then drove in and picked me up as he was driving out from the gate a car drove passed us in a hurry from the other block that is where the beautiful lady is living i ignored it because it didnt look like her car, that must be her man or someone thats a family that must have come visiting.

Good morning sir the driver greeted; hope you slept well?... yes I did!..., he then increased the speed to 60HP, put on a nice blues while driving i was relaxed enjoying the music when we got to work i stepped out of the car and walked to my office greeting my co-workers, "good morning sir" the assistant secretary greeted i replied her and smiled "thank you for the lunch yesterday" your welcome she replied and walked away after some few minutes she came back to my office "sir the manager needs your attention the meeting time has been shifted forward you are needed to give your presentation I nodded and she left.

I quickly walked in to the managers office I then met some few other workers, the manager went further to introduce all the staff present in his office; they include: HR director, vice president of human resources, chief human resource officer and he said the secretary will be joining us soon I sent her on an errand, seat he said as i took my sit "are you ready for today's presentation?..." yes I said as I open my bag and brought out my files, "please be patient the secretary will join us soon" HR director said to me as he continued with his speech; on behalve of everyone here I welcome you officially into the Las Vegas Branch, i quickly said thank you sir with a smile as the secretary walked in, oh my goodness I screamed in my mind!!! is she the secretary?...

The manager quickly looked at her and said "hello Stephanie this is the company's new HR we have been waiting for, Mr Dalton this is the company's secretary Stephanie I stood up and shook her welcome she said as she acted like we've never met before she sat down while I took up my presentation and gave a good work presentation and everyone including her clapped.

After a long meeting I stepped out and walked to my office, it wasn't long Stephanie came to my office hello Dalton here's the company policy in Las Vegas I took it and she walked away still acting like we have never met before I had to play along, when it was lunch break I walked into the nearby fastfood for some snacks where I saw Stephanie eating lunch I took my food to where she was seated and acted like I don't know her she looked at me suspiciously and didn't say anything I kept eating ignoring her too she finished eating and left without saying a word not even a bright face or smile, "that doesn't matter anyway" time will tell.
