Danielle Hart was a nobody in the sea of students at the Holy Hilltop High Academy. She was in the school as nothing more as a scholarship student among the masses of students that came from money. She didn't want to stand out, in fact she spent most of her time with her nose in her books. That was until the start of her Senior year when everyone started to notice her including Maxwell Long, the school's most popular bad boy. Rebecca Stirna ran the school until senior year, and now her eyes were on Danielle's new found popularity with a rare color of jealousy. How could Danielle sneek back into the background and out of Rebecca's claws?

First Day of School
I had spent the last three years at Holy Hilltop High Academy. It was a boarding school in a small town in the middle of nowhere. The school was close to the ocean but surrounded by wooded lands. That was part of the allure for many of the rich families that sent their kids there to go to school. The allure for me was that it had one of the best educational programs and a vast list of extracurricular activities that looked great on a college application. That was my key out of this town.  I loved my family. Well most of my family at least. My parents were usually gone away on business now that my brother, my sister, and I were older. My brother, Damon, and I were twins, both 17 and our sister Natalie was 22 but instead of going to college she worked as a bartender at a local pub downtown. My brother also went to Holy Hilltop High Academy, luckily we both made it in on scholarship. Only, my brother was much more popular than I was. I suspected that went along with the fact that he played football.  Sports weren't really my thing but even my school counselor told me that any sport would be good for my college applications. She suggested cheerleading and my brother actually encouraged it. I didn't think that it could be that hard so over the summer I tried out. Much to my dismay, I made the team. Well there went my hiding in the shadows cloak that I wore for the last three years.  What was I thinking? I was what you would call a late bloomer. As if it happened overnight, my body went from looking like a sack of potatoes to actually having curves. My breasts were an ample size and actually larger than most of the girls in our class. It was more than embarrassing to ask my mom for bras. She took pleasure in taking me to Victoria Secret to have me measured and leaving the place with over $500 worth of underwear and bras. I didn't see the point. It wasn't like anyone was ever going to see any of it. None of the boys in school even knew I existed.  Last night I had spent hours packing all of my things for school. All of the new school uniforms, my after school clothes to wear around the dorms, the absurd amount of PJs that I owned, and even more new school clothes that my mother took me shopping for. I had almost wanted to ask if we won the lottery but she said that it was something that we had to do now that none of my old clothes fit. Plus I knew that my dad got a promotion at work. At least something good came out of his never being at home. I packed a few personal items and lastly my bookbag with all of my new notebooks, pens, highlighters, planners and pencils. I was ready. At least the first day arriving on campus we were allowed to wear street clothes.  I slept like a baby and woke up to my brother running into the room telling me to hurry up. "Why?" I asked groggily. "Because my friends are here and mom wants you downstairs for breakfast." With that he ran back out of my room and I crawled out of bed. I ran into the bathroom and showered to get ready for the day. My clothes were laid out on my bed and when I came back into my room, I found my brother leaving with some of my packed things along with about 3 of his friend. I hid myself quickly but when I walked into the room, I shut my door and dropped my towel. Only I wasn't alone. "What are you doing in here?!" I squeaked and quickly picked up my towel.  It was Maxwell. Maxwell Stirna. One of the most popular guys at school who played on the football team with Damon. He also had a fast reputation with girls and liked to get into fights all too much. "I was just gonna see if you had anything else you needed carried out to my car." "Your car?" I asked with a gulp.  He smirked and nodded his head. "Yeah. You're riding with me to school." "Oh." I thought Damon said we were riding with Steve. Maybe I misunderstood. "Ok well, I think they got everything. Now, if you don't mind. I need to get dressed." He looked at the clothes on the bed. "You are wearing that?" He asked a little shocked. I nodded to him.  "By the way, you shouldn't cover up like you do..." With that he winked at me and walked out of the room.  I groaned and looked at the pair of jeans that I had on the bed, yes I knew they were like 2 sizes too big and the sweatshirt would only be too big this year too. I went back into my closet and picked out a navy blue dress that came up above my knees with a brown leather thick belt. It was lower cut on the top, one of the new outfits my mom picked out. I also tossed on a pair of the calf high brown boots she bought. My long brown curls were pinned back in a barrett but only the top part of my hair was pinned back. I took my makeup bag and added just a little makeup. I grabbed my white shrug to go over my dress, it was still early and not quite warm out yet.  I ran downstairs hearing my mom call my name again. "I'm here. I found that outfit you got. I couldn't figure out where it got packed" I shrugged at her. She kissed my forehead and had me sit at the table.  "Eat something, Dani. I gotta head into the office but have a great first day at school. I will call you ". I nodded to her and sat in between Nick who was a good bit nicer to me than the other boys had ever been and Maxwell. I grabbed some eggs on my plate, a few slices of bacon and a cup of coffee. I skipped the carbs.  The boys went on about football and I rolled my eyes that my brother caught it. "Don't roll your eyes, you're a cheerleader now and you better get used to hearing about football." He laughed at me.  The other boys looked at me curiously. "Really?" Asked Nick and Steve at the same time. I nodded. I felt a cold hand on my knee and I knew immediately it wasn't Nick's hand. I gulped slightly as I drank my coffee. Max's hand moved up higher to my inner thigh and my eyes went large but I ignored it not wanting to bring anymore attention to myself. In the past, Max had teased me in front of our class and my brother's friends before. I was either too thick or too much of a nerd.  Just as Max moved his hand up even higher, almost to the edge of my panties he pulled his hand back and clapped his hands together. "Let's get this show on the road." Everyone agreed.  "I'm riding with Steve and Nick. You are riding with Max. Sorry but there's no more room in the other vehicle." My brother told me. I shrugged. "Ok, that's fine." They were all in jeans and their football jerseys. Was I supposed to be in my cheer uniform? We got into the car and my fears were realized when Rebecca sent a mass text to the entire cheer team.  *Make sure you ladies are all in uniform when you get to campus. Remember 2 PM by the clock tower.* I groaned.  "What?" Max asked curiously.  "I have to wear my uniform, can you pull over in that parking lot?" I pointed to the fast food joint and he pulled over. I hopped into the back where my book bag was that had my cheer uniform. "Just give me like five minutes to change."  "Okay." I heard him say.  I saw his knuckles turn white as he gripped onto the steering wheel. I took my dress off and pulled the cheer skirt on first then grabbed my cheer top. I thought I caught him looking in the mirror but I ignored it. I even ignored the butterflies in my belly that it was giving me. He never gave me attention like this before. Actually, none of the guys at school did. I climbed over the seat and changed into my socks and cheer shoes. "Ok, thank you." I said with a sweet smile his way.  He nodded and just drove faster to catch up with the boys. Finally we were at school. The boys helped me carry all of my things to my new room and I got settled in. I guess I'd find out who my roommate was later. It was almost 2. I ran over to the clock tower and made it with just 5 minutes to spare. Thank God. I did not want to face Rebecca's wrath on my first day.
