Chapter 4

**Maze POV**

I stare at this girl in front of me who has just dropped to her knees. I can't believe that she is so beautiful I just want to run my hands through her hair it looks so silky. It almost makes me jealous that Azuell got to put his nasty mouth on such a beautiful neck. Her beautiful clear skin and pale completion makes me almost lose my mind. I've seen those eyes before maybe she is the one I've seen. Why do I feel this way it makes no sense. I haven't been interested in women for a long time. Not the I couldn't get a woman by any means. I'm what do women call it tall dark and handsome? I have dark tan skin with dark brown wavy hair. I stand fairly over 6'2. With a nice build I am in shape but not over the top. I think I look pretty good if I do say so myself.

 Unlike Azuell, over there with his pale a** skin and long dark blonde hair. He is the definition of a pretty boy. Honestly, I'm shocked he even sleeps in a place like this since he's afraid to get dirty. This place isn't really up to his standards but hey I guess you have no choice when your running from your past. The man had to be about 5'5 he really is small in size. *Growel* I was snapped back by the sound of her stomach damn she must be hungry for us to hear it. I watched as Azuell got up with a sigh and walk towards the girl is that a twinge of jealously that a feel. 

 "come girl," he told her "Let's go on a hunt."

**Aria POV**

I stared up at him as he reached his hand down to me. 

"come on now I don't have all day."

I hurried to take his hand and used all the strength I had to pull myself up. I feel so weak all of a sudden I kept a straight face as he already seems tired of me and I do need his help. I don't know what I'm supposed to do as we are walking out of the church he stops. 

"look we need to move fast have you figured out that you can speed run yet?"

I shook my head no. I have no clue what the h**l that is. 

"Honestly." he shook his head in disappointment "well you will think about where you want to go and will your body to go there. Do you see that broken tree over there? Look at it focus on it and with purpose go to it." 

I look at the tree, I close my eyes, and tell myself to go for it ... and nothing. I open my eyes to see him looking at me with disappointment. I guess he expected me to make it on the first try. 

"NO, NO, NO, watch me!"

I stared at him trying to see what he does and before I could even register he was at the tree. Aww,f**k I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding and try again. I see the tree, I feel the wind, I see where am going and let my body do the work. After seconds I open my eyes to find myself at the tree. I jump with excitement I didn't even realize I moved. 

"Okay, nice work I see you're getting the hang of this now all you have to do is will your body to follow me got it."

I shook my head in understanding and did as he said. This time I didn't close my eyes I wanted to see the trees as we moved. I couldn't explain this feeling it is so amazing. I feel so free I feel so peaceful running I didn't know I could feel like this. To my disappointment, we had reached our destination. We arrived at a nature trail that runs through this forest and we waited. 

"Look I'm not going to do all the work for you. You will have to learn because I won't be coming with you every time. You see a person and you pull them into the bushes. From there you have two choices you can drink them until there's nothing left or you can drink, stop, and then compel them to forget you."

    "How do I compel someone? Wont he become a vampire if I drink from him" Once I asked this question I could see the annoyance on his face.

"Basically you look deep into their eyes and tell them what you want them to do or remember. Just FYI it only works on humans you can't do it to other vampires and no he wont become a vampire unless you bring him to the brink of death. Please don't do this one baby vampire is all I can deal with either drink enough or kill him." He shrugged

okay time to do this I stare back at the trail and watch I see a couple and I let them go. I see a woman with her baby jogging. I let them go I need someone alone I can't just take anyone. After watching a few more people go by I finally see the perfect person. There is a man jogging by his self listening to music. I make sure that no one else is coming just incase so I dont get caught. So I will my self to move as fast as I can. I go to the man grab him from behind with my hand over his mouth and pull him back into the bushes before I could be seen. As I get close to him I can smell this sweet almost candy-like scent coming from him. I can hear his heartbeat strong like a drum.

It makes my mouth water before knew it my fangs dropped out of my mouth. I wrap my hand around the man's neck with my hand still covering his mouth and dig my mouth into his neck. MHMMM this is the most amazing thing I have ever tasted. I drink from hungrily losing all senses of my self. I feel so savage but I like the way it makes me feel. Im in control of this situation not anyone else. I feel so empowered to be in this moment. To think this is what my life will be like now. I don't ever want to lose this feeling. I pull in more blood with a deep pull. I could hear Azuell in the background

"Feel his heartbeat if you intend to keep him alive. As the beats weaken the closer he is to death." He said tired of the situation. I could see that he wasn't interested in what I was doing 

I can't stop myself. Oh no, I don't want to kill anyone!
