The Lost One

Chapter 3

***Aria POV***

I'm so tired of walking it feels like I have been at this forever. At least the rain has stopped I don't think I could handle any more. Although it's winter I am not cold. I don't understand it at all. I see an old church up ahead I can not wait to get there so I can take a break from this d**m journey. uhhhh I have to figure out my whole life now. Like what in the world am I going to do from here. I can't go back to school for more than one reason I look completely different. Plus if John finds out that I'm alive he might try to finish me. I wonder what crap of a lie they will come up with for my disappearance. Then again I have no friends and the teachers barely notice me so who would even question it. 

I got so lost in my thoughts I didn't even realize that I made it to the church. It looks like it's been empty for a while. I should be able to lay low here for a while. I push open the big heavy doors and I'm met with a room full of light candles. I mean the room is literally covered from wall to wall. I wanted to leave but I felt something pulling me into the building so I started to venture inside to see what I could find. I see a long dark hallway at the back of the building. I think that's where the pull is coming from, following the path I still feel the pang of hung in my stomach it's only getting worse and worse. Thinking to myself I only wonder what I'm going to do I have no money. There is no point to worry about that now. I shake off the thought. 

Making it to the only door I slowly push it open. To my shock, I see two men on two cots on separate sides of the room. I take a step in an accidentally step on an empty can. This started them men causing them to jump awake. Instantly the pale dark-haired male was at my throat. He hissed at me showing fangs. 

"You smell like that pig of a girl that was in the forest." Azuell hissed

    "wait you know who I am? How? Are you the man I dreamed about? Did you really bite me?"

"Dream? HAHA, that was no dream I drank from you like I hadn't had a drink in months. I would have finished you too if someone hadn't disturbed me. But aren't you a strong one you were already on the brink of death when I found you? Interesting so what are you doing here?" he said finally releasing my throat. 

    " I felt something pulling me here. I don't really know what to do or what I am. All I know is that I cant go back to where I used to live."

"ugh, I should have just finished you off. Isn't it obvious you're a vampire now," he said it so casually throwing his hands up in the air as he lay on his cot.

    "But... But how is that possible I mean I just walked in the daylight?"

" That was just something we got mortals to believe years ago so we could live easier. And duh I bite you that was all it took. Once my venom entered your system the change began. I didn't think that you would survive though the change is so hard on one's body not just anyone could hold out. Your appearance is interesting as well. Your eye color isn't typically only the royals have red eyes. A normal vampire like yourself should have brown eyes. " He looked over at the other man who had just been staring at me the whole time. "maze what do you know about a situation like this?'

The man whose name is maze didn't respond he just started without missing a beat. It was very intense but shockingly he didn't scare me like the other man. 

    " Is maze a vampire too?" I managed to stumble out.

" No my good friend maze here is a very powerful warlock from the circle of eternity coven. His family has led the coven going back hundreds of years. We have been running together for many years now. Oh by the way I'm Azuell since I'm assuming you going to be sticking around me for a while." Maze seemed to be very annoyed that Azuell just told me things about him. I wonder why he didn't want me to know, was it just because we just met.?

    "My name is Aria, Azuell can I ask you a question?"

"I supposed." 

    "How did my appearance change?"

"Ha would you rather go back to how it was before I think this is quite an improvement you look yummy now." This caused Maze to frown even more 

    " No its not that I really just wanted to know."

"Well from what I know it is fairly common for skin color to change but as far as everything else you seem to be a unique little baby vampire. Maybe you and Maze can figure out more about it if he wants to help you."

I looked at maze with the sappiest sad face I could do.

        "Fine ill help you figure out whats going on with yourself. It wont be a quick process and it may hurt but I can help."

    "I can take it and I really appreciate it I just want to find out who I am now so I can get own with my new life." They both seemed to not care anymore.

I just tried to process everything I have heard it's real I wonder if werewolves are real. At this point, I wouldn't be shocked if they had fairies out there flying around. I was taken out of my thoughts by the intense hunger that had bubbled up inside my stomach. It caused me to drop down to my knees the hunger was causing me more pain. Does this mean I have to drink blood? Can I still eat normal food and what does this mean for me now? I should have asked more questions.
