The Lost One

Chapter 2

***Unknown POV***

That smell I haven't smelled anything that sweet in so long. What is that sweet scent the smell of rose water and honey fills my nose but for that smell to be that strong it must be blood? I have to go to it I have to see what is causing that scent to have my senses to go crazy. My legs started moving without my say so. The smell was so strong so it must be so close to the abandoned church I was staying in. I'm being pulled into the forest. I wisk past trees as the smell comes closer I come to a complete stop as the smell overpowered me.  

The scent brought me to a tight bunch of trees where I come across this lump of a girl. Her appearance wasn't very impressive. She is covered in bruises and dirt, but her blood was just so amazing. I could tell she was already so low on blood but I just need a taste. 

I grabbed her broken body gently and moved her dirty hair away from her neck. I took a deep breath of her scent and drew out my fangs and took a deep drink. I can hear her screaming she must be feeling the toxins from my fangs. Oh well, she doesn't have long left anyway, I might as well speed it up. I pulled in her blood with a strong intensity 

" Azuell" I heard Maze yelling from afar. Ugh I cant ever enjoy myself he's always ruining my fun.

I pulled my fangs away from this disheveled girl dropping her back to the ground. I headed back in the direction of the church. I'm so dissatisfied how could one be so tasty and look so average. Sadly I didn't get to finish that tasty girl. This better be important for him to make me stop my mealtime.  Running at top speed I make it back to the church in minutes, to see Maze staring at me. 

"what Maze? What could have been so important that it couldn't wait until I returned."

    " I had a vision that required my stopping you. I'm not sure yet exactly what it means yet, but know someone important is about to be awakened. I'm not sure exactly when but she is coming."

  "What rubbish are you talking about most of the royal family has been gone for decades. The queen has been missing for over a decade. Is she the one you are talking about?"

    "No, it's not the queen it is someone different. I can't explain it to you because I'm not exactly sure yet will have to wait to see how the events unfold." He said matter of factly 

I sighed and went lay down I hate when Maze kept me in the dark. I don't believe that he's not sure something tells me that is a lie. It's not fair that he gets to know what's going on and I don't. 

" Whatever Maze I don't want to hear it anyway. You know I despise rules and laws so that does me no good anyway. I'm going to sleep since I can't know what's happening." 

**Aria POV**

The pain I'm feeling in my neck is unbearable. This burning is out of this world my whole body is on fire I could feel my hair falling out and my skin feels like it is boiling off. What is going on what is happening to me? This man really drank my blood and now I'm bubbling to death if it wasn't enough of what John did to me he couldn't just let me die in peace. This is worse than all the beatings I have ever received. Maybe I can force myself to sleep until I just die. Now I lay here in agony screaming and staring at the sky. I can feel something forcing its way from my scalp. The itching is so intense and I still can move my arms. after what felt like hours of torture I finally blacked out. 

I felt drops of rain hitting my face. It felt so different so refreshing I could feel the rain dancing on each one of my pours. I opened my eyes and saw that everything was blurry. I blinked until my vision was restored to normal. I looked around the forest where John had dumped me. It was actually beautiful in the daylight. I could see so much better. I hadn't even noticed there was a small stream near where I was laying. I crawled towards the stream and was shocked to see my reflection cause who am I looking at. 

I saw a girl with beautiful pale skin and long silky black hair. Her eyes were a beautiful fire red that looked like flames danced across them. I touched my hands to my face ... Oh my ..... I don't believe this ...  that girl is me.  I pushed myself up off the ground only to see that my body has shrunk. So instead of my fat body had beautiful curves. Wait I never even noticed where are my bruises? I was completely healed from the events last night that should have killed me. How are they gone what really happened to me ?? All I remember is getting bite by that man and he drunk my blood. Was he a vampire? Were vampires real? Or was that all a dream. I mean that couldn't have really happened right? Vampires were just some made-up story that we tell during Halloween.

That doesn't even matter to anyway what am I going to do? I have no home where am I going to go? John tried to kill me. I have no home I have no family what do I have for my future. I look completely different though I could start a new life. I don't have money though how would I live. I will figure this out I have to survive I have been through way too much. This is my second chance at a new life, at a better life. After everything I have put up with I deserve better. And I'm sooooo hungry I might as well start walking and see If I can find somewhere out of the rain. 

It isn't raining too hard but it smells amazing. I love how peaceful the rain is it always has made me calm even after one of the beatings I have received. It was so therapeutic I felt like I belong in the rain. I started walking in a random direction. Hoping it would take me somewhere safe at this point I really just want to eat and get some rest. I feel as though I have no energy left from yesterday.
