An Enemy Within

The journey to the waterfall clearing goes by in a blur.  My mind is too focused on what Aaron and I will attempt to do in less than 24 hours. Happy images play through my mind but are soon replaced by vivid pictures of all the terrible things that could go wrong.  My emotions are conflicting with each other so much that I’m in between excited and petrified. I know Aaron and I are doing what needs to be alone but when it comes down to it.  I am terrified of the unknown.  When we arrive at the clearing it feels as if our journey passed by in mere minutes instead of the hours we have been traveling.  I guess the last day of your life passes by more quickly than other days in your life.  We seem to be one of the last family units to arrive to celebrate the end of the mating season.  Not wasti
