Chapter 5
"What happened?" Roger leaped from the couch.
"He's..." Jim couldn't finish and broke down crying.
"Dad is...gone?" Roger finished, hugging his omega father. "But they said he was getting better. Are you sure he didn't hitch a ride home or something?"
Jim shook his head.
Roger's heart sank like a stone.
"The doctors don't know why he was taken from the hospital." Jim explained, plopping down on the sofa.
"They don't know! He's been kidnapped by someone!" Roger cried on Jim's shoulder, hugging his omega father for support.
"Don't worry, I'll find him!" Roger promised, wondering how he'd do it.
"The only thing I found was this." He shoved a crumpled note in his hands.
Roger moved his lips as he read it. With each word, his eyes grew wider until he thought they'd pop out.
